Thanks everyone!

My brain has finally rebooted after all the debauchery this weekend. My best friend Larry and I started partying on Saturday night in Galveston at a great new bar there. I did tequila shots with drag queens, who then gave me birthday spankings with their fans, met a local NBC weatherman, and found $5 in the bathroom (LOL). Then was invited to an after-party, which led to an invitation to a beer bust/barbecue on Sunday.

The beer bust was at a local gay cowboy club, so we put on our best denim and cowboyed-up (since we were both still feeling Sat. night). I ran into some old friends, then got more birthday spankings from a guy I met who used to work with Destiny's Child. I asked him if he had any Stevie scoop, but unfortunately he didn't. Once the barbecue was winding down, we blew through 3 or 4 more places (no pun intended), and would up at a leather bar, where - you guessed it - more birthday spankings!!!

Also, Larry gave me the new Beck CD, and we blasted it all weekend as we were tearing across the city. I always love getting music as presents (especially birthdays), because whatever I'm listening to instantly becomes mentally associated with happy times. I listened to it again this afternoon as I was waking up (ha!) to return birthday phone calls and eat spaghetti & spicy meatballs with my folks.

I really appreciate all your well-wishes and warm fuzzy thoughts. 36 feels pretty good so far!!!
