Stack it up next to the other songs from Linds and Chris and SW is crap. Good vocal, blah production, blah lyrics.

Best song on the album, followed by Tango. Far better than Family Man or Everywhere (speaking of bad production and lyrics).

Everywhere sucks, it's just awful. I like Family Man, but Tango In the Night is the best song on the album. It's fantastic, one of my all-time favorites. Seven Wonders is mediocre at best.

Seven Wonders is a great song and should have been in the set this time, IMO. One of Stevie's true feel-good songs that still retains a bit of an eerie sound. And again, I don't see how one can say that the lyrics and production are inferior to Family Man's.

Sorry, Family Man is leaps and bounds above Seven Wonders musically. The lyrics on both songs suck, so...

Again, are we talking production, rhythm, vocals, harmonies, "catchiness"? On all counts Seven Wonders is the winner by a Landslide.

There's no way Seven Wonders is catchier than Family Man. Family Man sucks in many arenas, but it can't be accused of not being catchy. Family Man has better vocals, too, with the exception of the VSO maneuvering. Stevie's voice is too ragged on Seven Wonders. And the production in Seven Wonders is plastic, it hinders the song, much like Running Through the Garden (even though I do love RTTG).

Comparing vocals, Family Man barely qualifies as singing. It's breathing. And Stevie's voice on SW sounds smoother than today.
Yes, I can and do accuse FM of not being catchy. You need a natural tic to sing Family Man and enjoy it. The pacing is abrupt and unpleasant. Seven Wonders flows beautifully.
The production on FM is overboard. Where the song belongs.

We'll just disagree than because I think Lindsey sings Family Man beautifully and not haggardly like Stevie on Seven Wonders.

And I think he sounds like Max Headroom on helium, while Stevie's vocal is flawless.

No, but I suppose a goat would sound better than Family Man.
