I believe that's from the Bristol, CT show, in 1989. Correct me if I am wrong!

I love the whole "You know this girl - I do - she's shy" or whatever speech she gave when introducing Sara - Just coked out of her head

Nothing beats her coked out performance on the Bella Donna 81 In Concert Video. She tweaks to the stage worrying about paying all of this money back lol. She plays the tambourine like a coked out bunny rabbit lol. Im also convinced somewhere she did another line or 2 before Rhiannon. Im sure the break between Edge 17 and Rhiannon is longer than what we see in the video.

"Santa needs no help"........"Never buy me anymore stuffed animals I have enough already"

LOL can we say "SNIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF"

I have to admit, I think some people read drugs into a lot of things Stevie said/did, when in fact she may have just been being silly or funny...naturally. I'm not trying to deny her plethera of coked and Klonopin-ed out moments, I'm just saying it's not like EVERY SINGLE THING she did during those years was drug-influenced! (Well, maybe not with the Klonopin because she was taking that regularly, i.e. every day on a schedule. But I still think there's a good chance she would've told off the security in Bristol the same way without drugs! In her heart, she does not want people "f--king with us"!) I don't think she seems unusually high in the In Concert video...walking to the stage she just seems genuinely nervous, as I can imagine she indeed was. I see a lot more amazing, natural passion in this performance than coke. Stevie can be THAT powerful without drugs! Believe it!

She didn't seem high to me either. Yes, she was exuberant, but attributing all pre-1987 energy to drugs if unfair to her.

I love what she said about Sharon at the US Festival in 1983:"Miss Sharon Celani.... she's yours for 25.000 dollars" LOL.

Aside from the most dour and cynical among us, I think everyone has their moments of silliness and playfullness... without needing to be inebriated or high.

So I definitely agree that not all of Stevie's "goofy moments" should be attributed to some substance or another.
The girl can just have fun once in a while!

I agree- The copy I have of her US Festival performamce is hilarious at some points. Especially the bit about Sharon, as Debbie stated....And of course, the Stand Back explanation...

"Well you could be standing in...What does that mean, you might ask. It means of course, quicksand. They'll be the only 350,000 people in the whole world that'll know what I meant. You're thinking!"

LOL
