It's incredibly easy to look at the edit history of the setlist.fm page and clearly see when I made my post I was referencing what was up on that site, and it was edited later. I was posting what anybody would've considered accurate, just as we consider what's up there now as accurate.

Probably because 2 days ago this was the correct forum, and I was unaware there was a change. This is where all the Tulsa stuff went.

Nope. There was a great big announcement right above where you posted stated there had been a forum change. You just couldn't wait to rush over here and share the bad news that's why.

That is hardly a “great big announcement” - I didn’t even see it until looking at this thread. God damn there’s so much nastiness on this board.

To be fair, I didn't see the announcement until you pointed it out either. It's not very obvious. I found the new forum ok, but totally missed the announcement.

Yeah and I'm sick of it. I'm sorry I won't be quiet.

Regardless of their post history (which doesn't appear to be very offensive imo, they just express dissatisfaction with the firing of Lindsey Buckingham), the post itself did not warrant that response. There was no gloating on their end.
Not to challenge your pedestal, but fighting what you perceive to be negativity with more negativity doesn't help anything.

Seriously! I didn't see it either. Someone doesn't want goat woman's band talked about in a negative light.

Cant everyone see what kind of atmosphere has been created here? Why is it so hard to understand that berating ANY member of this band should not be allowed here. It is driving everyone away and is just pissing people off left and right. Why would it be a problem to just say...if you dont have anything nice or constructive to say, dont say anything. No more name calling and juvenile behavior. One infraction - warning. 2 infractions - suspended for xx days. 3 infractions - gone for good!!

This thread seems to be an honest mistake by a long term member. Its turned into something ugly that has nothing to do with its original intent. The OP admits why the error was made and it makes sense. We should all forgive the OP. Too bad this thread cant be locked or deleted.
