At the meet & greet in Sydney when asked when he was going home, Mick said he was leaving to go to LA on the 7th of December to spend time with his daughters before going back home to Hawaii. He was kinda sad that he wouldn't be with his family for Christmas.

Wdm6789, that was a really cool story you told. I like the fact that FM's music introduced you to other classic rock artists.

Just found this video of Mick and Stevie at LAX. Supposedly this was Tuesday.

As the On with the Show tour has concluded, everyone involved gets to rest and enjoy needed time off. First, I do not see Fleetwood Mac doing long tours lasting two years. Second, performing without anything new becomes stale. (The Eagles are bad about that.)

What happens in 2016? I think Lindsey remains the only member active with new material. He can easily release another solo LP and do a short tour. Stevie is a mystery. Does she have new material? Does she have older unreleased material that could be a second Songs from the Vault installment?

What happens in 2017? Fleetwood Mac will celebrate 50 years of its formation and 40 years of Rumours.

I'd recognize those shoulder holes anywhere. You can't disguise them. Michele

You know what? If Mick really wanted to protect Stevie, maybe he shouldn't walk her to her car. At his height, in a bright yellow jacket, he's not unobtrusive. Let the woman go her own way. Despite Karen's protective, frantic flailing, Stevie's so short that it's possible no one would even notice her if Mr. Fleetwood would go in the other direction.

Yeah that's interesting. I wonder why he told us the 7th? Thanks for the info

I was wondering the same thing. But when (you) first told us that, I was trying to figure out what would keep them there until then.

Between 2013 and 2014 I went to see Crosby Stills & Nash, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Hall & Oates, and Steely Dan as well. I somewhat believe in The Secret, for those of you that might know what that is. I definitely agree with Stevie when she said the collective energy of all the die hard Fleetwood Mac fans brought Christine back. Music has become a sentimental thing for me and it's because of Fleetwood Mac and I'm so glad I got to see them with Christine.
I know The Secret and enjoyed reading your path of discovering Fleetwood Mac. It's good to know you exploring the various configurations of the band prior 1975. A lot of riches to be found there- from their blues origins, to their middle transitional era of Kiln House to Heroes Are Hard to Find.

It's great that you're finding the value in the works of artists/groups from generations past. CSN, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Steely Dan, Hall & Oates??? Impressive taste! All those you cited are in my wheelhouse.

Because there are so many groups/artists I love and follow. I'm an obsessive collector and completest I have accumulated a massive collect over decades. Mostly from the sixties onward. I'm much more selective with newer, current artists now. I can acknowledge young new talent, but they are just not in my demographic interests now. It would be a bit creepy if it was. But's heartening when a younger demographic has the sophisticated ears to look back and see there is more to music than the Taylor Swift/Katie Perry generation.
