A friend of mine called Lindsey's manager on Friday after the e-mail was sent out. Since you're discussing it, you should know this:

The tickets that are being given away through the fanclub do not have anything to do with Jonathan Todd or his staff.

This was put together by Lindsey and his management and the fanclub staff will not be choosing or looking at the entries for the drawing.

Many fanclub members have not been willing to enter any of the contests because they do not want Jonathan Todd and his staff to have access to their personal information. If you belong to the fanclub you can enter this contest and not be afraid, this is being done through PBS. If you want to have a chance to go to the Soundstage contest, please enter the contest!!

That is EXACTLY who I thought/knew got these tickets. Lindsey's management are the tightest, best ppl that I have ever had the pleasure to get to know. I wonder if there is a way to enter the contest without sending anything at all to JT or his staff? I think that I will talk to them Monday and find out and if so, will post it here for all. I know that there are a lot of us who do not want JT, his staff nor his admins to have any more info on us, so I will do this for us all. Thank you for checking this out. I really appreciate it. I KNEW that JT had NOTHING to do with it. I think that he could care less about any of it or us. History has shown me that.
And, thank you for speaking out. I don't think that you are considered one of us five, which are really around 460.

I hope that puts your mind and everyone elses to rest and people enter one drawing for somethign where you don't have to write a HAPPY LETTER. That should've beeen the tip off that Jonathan and his staff had NOTHING to do with it.

Well, I understand that but, to enter, we respond to the email addy that will go to the fan club, and regardless of the fact that Lindseys ppl are making the choices, it will pass either through their hands, or they will have access to it. So, I still am not comfortable. **Oops, My bad. I went and read it again, and we DO send the entries to Lindseys ppl, so JT does not have anything to do with it. Outed AGAIN. Is there nothing that he won't take credit for? All the ****, that is what he won't take credit for. TY LINDSEY, Tony, Brynne and everyone over at East End Mgmt.

This is so great! I knew this had nothing to do with the club. I'm sure a lot of fans are relieved they won't have to deal with them on this. Wonderful! East End is worthy of trust, where the club is not. Thanks for clearing this up, Tracy.

This is the kind of gesture I've been waiting for from the band. They surely know what's happened and at least Lindsey's and Stevie's managers have tried to help. I've always felt HK Management was responsible for my refund and not JT. East End deserves the credit for this, no matter how the spin doctors at Mick's board try to tell it.

Thanks for all your help, too, peace...and everyone else who spoke out about the club. If you hadn't gotten the petition going and sent to the managers, they wouldn't have known how many fans felt outraged by the fan club. I see this as an attempt to do something to make up for the damage the club caused. Too bad it took so long, but it's an exceptional gesture just the same.

I'm still wondering why you have to give your fan club user id in the emal if it has nothing to do with the fan club?? I don't really visit alot of other FM boards, and correct me if I'm wrong, but was the only way people heard about this through the email the fan club sent?

It was posted on this board as well around the time the email was sent. I couldn't find it on any other boards that I visited. I am guessing that they want to verify that the tickets go to club members only. The only other way to find out is to wait until Monday morning and make the appropriate phone calls then.

Just a guess, but I would guess Lindsey and/ or his management KNOW about the screw ups done to the fan club members and are trying to make SOMETHING right about it. ROCK ON LINDSEY!

And isn't it just INCREDIBLE that the fan club tries to hog credit for it and one of the BOARD volunteer adminstrators wants US to credit the club's dubious administrator, Jonathan Todd. Gotta love the words of Jonathan Todd and his "minion" as he has taken to calling himself.

Do they only go to "happy" club members? What about the fans who did the most to bring attention to the whole fan club fiasco? Will they get left out? Seems like the rewards are still going to the wrong people, like all the a$$ kissers on Mick's board, and not the fans who got banned from it. We'll just have to wait and see.

Well, this is a contest for the fanclub, and so they are matching it up I am sure. You know, we been messed around and treated poorly, and the fan club is why they did this, so they want to be sure that ppl entering the contest are from the fan club I am sure.

Because this is being done by Lindseys ppl, it will be done the right way, of that I can promise you. They will make sure that the fan club members that enter will be chosen without bias. They are the best ppl around, you can count on that. I am thrilled to know that they did this. Whether there were complainers or no, it will have no bearing on who wins.
