It feels incomplete, which underlines the obvious that we've only heard the unfinished outtakes from 1980s Bella Donna sessions. I do appreaciate that unmistakable 70s hammond B3 organ rock n' roll groove that propels the song. I can totally see this being a Enchanted-esque rocker. Ultimatley, I'll love this record if they are going in the direction of more piano & B3 organ arrangements that were the foundation of many songs on both the "Bella Donna" & "Wild Heart" records.
What will be interesting is what Stevie picked out as her favorites vs what we fans perceive as favorites. That, and obviously balancing the record with rockers, because there is a vast amount of fan favorite demos that are basically ballads. Which is why I tend to believe that "The Dealer" aka "Mistress of my Fate" will also make the cut. It's a midtempo rocker, that's a completed song in the tradional verse, chorus, verse, chorus, brigde, chorus - that with some tightening could be a real barn burner Hammond b3 rocker itself.

Funny how tastes differ. When I hear Stevie backed by Hammond Organ or honky tonk piano and belting out the likes of "Enchanted" (or "The Dealer" or "Starshine"), I wonder, often aloud, why I consider myself a fan at all. I think she comes across really gratingly on those numbers. Someone with that voice and that unusual songwriting creativity is wasted on that stuff.
