Best Quality Boot?

I'd like to get everybody's opinion on what is the best quality show available?
I need to check to see which files i need to complete these (i have most of Columbus and Buffalo)

Buffalo is the best sounding one, but I don't like it. It sounds empty to me. It sounds very distant and cold. But that's just me!

I personally LOVE having no Crowd noise. And That's what Buffalo provides. You hear lots of details of the songs, without hearing some loud mouthed woman saying "I LOVE YOU STEVIE" which i have nothiong against during the concert, but when i hear a recording I'd perfer not to have that noise. But I actually perfer Birhmingham. It has a better sound to it, and still keeps CN to a minimum. But of course Buffalo will hold the special place in my heart having went there. It actually means alot to me that people out there are disscussing a show that I was at. It's incredible. i know how people at the filming of famous shows like Woodstock and Rosebud feel now.

I'm listening to the Birmingham show right now, and it is pretty good quality. My only problem is, i only have up to 'Beautiful child'.

Does anyone have the rest of the show and would they consider sending it to me?

I would be very grateful!!!

All of these shows are available for trade from alot of different people in the trading community.

Some websites had them as downloads over a period of a few weeks.

You can go the fmlegacy.com to the concert page and there are selected songs from various shows to download and sample.

Keep checking burnish.net as she puts up shows too. Her site is down at the moment because of bandwidth, but next month it should be up.

buckinghamnicks.net also posts mp3's on her site - usually older stuff, nothing from SYW.

You have to look around.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse's June 26, 2003 Madison Square Garden boot... what can I say.. it sounds good.. feels good. Neil and the band starts off the show playing his whole new album "Greendale." He doesn't compromise at all, but does promise the crowd that he'll dust off a few of the old songs, but not until he finishes playing his new stuff. What a boot.. and what a story Neil is telling on this terrific show..he plays the whole new record.. Fleetwood Mac wouldn't do that in a 1000 years..

but, to answer your question, I'm sure you meant Fleetwood Mac's current tour (sorry, but I had to plug Neil - he's amazing).. 'Say You Will" is The Dance tour (minus Chris) with a few new songs thrown in so they can call it the Say You Will tour.. (Neil has me spoiled now).. but I do love the Say You Will tour.. I love listening to the boots more than I do the record.. it didn't stick with me like I had hoped..kinda of sad, but I do love a few gems on the record.. uh..

my favorite of the SYW boots are Columbus (Destiny Rules and Running Through the Garden, and that opening night crowd), and Chicago. I wish I would have been at that Chicago show. amazing boot..

SYW shows from people outside the FM/SN trading circles and the rest from the usual traders I deal with on a regular occassion.

But it also helps to have a wide variety of artists to trade because that has really helped me to received some shows that may have not ever made it into circulation...

You can email me if you're looking for anything in particular from the current tour, I currently have 25 of the shows with about 10-12 more on the way...

That's because Lindsey is so obssessed with overproducing songs to the point where it wouldn't be feasible to do them onstage. I love the guy to death, but he goes overboard too often.

Also, Fleetwood Mac won't step out of their safety zones for fear of losing money. Plain and simple. They just want to phone in their performances for the most part. Just look at Destiny Rules and Running Through the Garden; they dropped them almost immediately. Why? To make room for more Rumours!! They didn't fell like sticking it out to perfect these songs or they "felt" that the audience wouldn't enjoy hearing them. For one, that shows laziness and two, it shows how out of touch they are. For all I care, if they didn't do any Rumours songs on tour, I'd die a happy man. Dreams, The Chain (the chain ain't together, drop the song), Second Hand News, NGBA, Rhiannon (it can't be done justice these days, drop it), GYOW, and Don't Stop (PLEASE stop) can all stay off, I want variety and a little more involvement instead of the same old **** that they could perform while asleep. Why pay $125 for what you can see on The Dance DVD, PLUS Christine McVie?! Sorry, it's my rant for the day.

I could care less since I'm seeing them for free, but it's just my dream, folks!

Wouldn't it be something to see a setlist with Crystal, Straight Back, Sisters of the Moon, and Frozen Love?!

I agree entirely, dissention, with everything you said.

I just got the Philly boot, wanted it because that's the show I saw and holy sh*t! I could have cried. Do NOT buy it. The audio is fuzzy and the video....I could go on and on but I won't. Just don't buy it. That boot is not the show I saw, which was fabulous.

I was at the Chicago show and I have the boot to it and IT WAS an amazing show. We (the adoring audience) were so into it, it was as if we had been stranded on an island and the first sign of civilization was a Mac concert - it was so over the top loud.

Having a boot from the shows you were at is really cool. You'll never forget the night.

As for trading, I've been trading for a little over 3 years or so and I started with 3 video boots of shows of Stevies and I didn't have a burner at the time and I managed to pickup quite a few cds along the way.

Now that I can burn cds it seems that there aren't that many traders out there or everyone had everything already.
