You can't into hardly any chain store of that type without seeing them. At my local Wal-mart, shirts, mugs, keychains, books, and a freaking Christmas cd for cryin' out loud.

Yes now I see all of their junk on the shelves everywhere. The stores should pull it off the shelves like the did to these other celebs when they open their big mouths about BS .

What I find most interesting is the fact that conservatives are always calling liberals cry babies. Yet, whenever anyone shines a light on conservatives public ignorance, they are the first to cry that they're being victimized. Conservatives are all about personal responsibility... this Duck guy calling out blacks & gays publicly wasn't very personally responsible. Obviously he won't suffer legally from his remarks, but he may just suffer financially. However, I doubt even that. The same people who have rallied behind Chick Fil-A will be right there with him. His income in the next year will probably triple from people snapping up his paraphernalia.
That comment about Blacks has to go down as one of the most ignorant comments ever. He's not playing with a full deck.

A & E should just pull the show before the channel and its averts get boycotted.

Paula Dean got tossed from everything when she made her BS comments .

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has removed select products from its stores tied to the stars of the cable hit "Duck Dynasty."

Lol. Fred Sanford, maybe as well.

Ok now back to the serious aspect. The fact that the governor is approving od the comment goes to show how backwards that state is.

Now there's one difference between this and Paula Deen. Her comments were made years ago. She's from the city I live near, Albany, Ga. People who know her personally ( I know some of those people) have said that she's changed her views.

Also, her apology seemed sincere, whereas Robertson didn't really apoloize at all.

Sounds like what Utah is going through right now... a little over a hundred couples have managed to marry but the (s0-called) conservatives are vowing to unallow them. If the term 'chaos' can apply simply to people wanting to marry, things must be much better than we thought?

Those people rushing to 'support' the Duck Dynasty patriarch remind me a bit of all the people who turned George Zimmerman into a saintly defender for liberty and the right to bear arms attacked while going about his self-appointed duty to judge and follow someone who didn't look right to him.

well forget Cracker Barrel. Copied and pasted from a post on my Facebook news feed:

BREAKING NEWS!! Cracker Barrel apologizes -*From Cracker Barrel Old Country StoreDear Cracker Barrel Customer: When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many*of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that’s just what we've done. You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren't shy about it. You wrote, you called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings.*You flat out told us we were wrong. We listened. Today, we are putting all our Duck Dynasty products back in our stores. And, we apologize for offending you. We respect all individuals right to express their beliefs. We certainly did not mean to have anyone think different. We sincerely hope you will continue to be part of our Cracker Barrel family.

Dang, wouldn't want to offend the 'cracker' faithful. Why, they can't help being what they is and shooting their mouths off about 'beliefs' on other folks' personal lives after all.

Now that's 'family'. Gives you a warm glow and like that.

You try to be inclusive and say 'happy holidays' or whatever these days, even in Canada, and some people get all bent out of shape about some 'war' on Christmas... who really is causing the problems? I'm thinking Rush Limpdick and his multiple decades of manufactured outrage and half truths. War, chaos, discrimination, they don't seem to know the real meaning of such terms they have latched on to...

Can't blame Cracker Barrel. Their intentions were good, and then the harsh realities of capitalism set in. You can't pick your client base, I guess.
