I don't think she's "blaming" Lindsey. I think its one of those things where someone says something to you that sticks with you for whatever reason, and you decide to change/adjust what you're doing.
Years ago my gf inadvertantly got me to stop biting my nails when she said that people may think there's something mentally wrong with me when they looked at my jacked up fingernails. Haven't bitten them since and its been 20 yrs. Jamie
