It's all because they're still(stupidly, artistically) under the Rumours spell....that if they did Station Man, that no one would know the song...

In their defense, 90% of the crowd, wouldn't know the song! But it would be such a dog bone, for those of us that have supported them, all of our lives.

But they're playing the "seat numbers"(milking the teat), now. Because that's who they've become......

We all gots bills to pay, and I'm sure theirs are 100 fold, ours....

There probably will be none, but I wish they would include some of Danny's songs. I like quite a few of them!

Oh Well stands a chance but the band likes to pretend that Kirwan, Spencer and Welch didn't exist and instead play Stand Back and Go Insane, over and over (wouldn't mind at all if Christine showed up and sang that wonderful tune ) again. I would say not a chance of hearing any of the material from these extremely talented former band mates.

Yup, that's about it. Would love to hear their version of Need Your Love So Bad though. I don't think that will ever happen. Too bad if you ask me.

They'd better damned well play a Bob Welch song ("Hypnotized" or "Sentimental Lady") this tour as a tribute to a fallen compatriot!

Mick had better been layin' down the law to Lindsey that they WILL be playing a Bob Welch song, so he'd better get to choosing which one he's going to do.

Especially since we'll never have the chance to see Bob play his own tunes live...and probably not Danny either, but at least there's the remotest of chances, considering his health & state of being. And, Jeremy, of course, is still active in the biz, so we have the opportunity to see him play whether he plays any of his songs from his Fleetwood Mac days or not.

In the past 24 months (or less), Fleetwood Mac has lost members...this is the first tour they've done since that reality...so there'd better be SOME sort of tribute to the "Three Bobs" at some point in the set; even if it is a verbal mention. But, since Bob Welch was one of their major songwriters during his tenure, at least ONE song should be included in their set. It would be the rudest of omissions if they don't. It would make the Hall of Fame snub seem as insignificant as somebody using the wrong fork at a formal dinner.

Only one song of Peter Green: Oh Well. I vote for it, but it's hard to say...
And I agree with your comments above: they won't play any song of Danny, Bob Welch or any other member from the past. Oh Well could be an exception, but it's unlikely.
Regards!

What's been the setlist history of "Oh Well" since '75? I know it was done on the 2009 tour. Do any other Peter songs have a chance of being performed besides "Oh Well"?

Personally with Stevie and Lindsey new albums and the new songs, BN anniversary, and Welch's passing, I predict no Peter/Danny/Jeremy songs in the setlist.

When speaking to a Canadian radio station Mick mentioned something about possibly performing Black Magic Woman. That would be awesome!

Oh snap! That changes things. Could there be room in the setlist for Black Magic Woman and Oh Well?

Thanks vivfox for that news. Latest news regarding the song choices helps predict what the Mac will do.
