Wish You Were Here (alt version)

I was listening to some of the alternate versions from my Fleetwood Mac box sets on my Bose headphones today. I like to do this from time to time. The alternative version for WYWH should have been used on the album release.All the additional instruments and vocals and the longer jam at the end is amazing. I might have posted this before but it’s worth another mention.

I know exactly what you mean, I do this too. Especially, with the Dolby Atmos mixes.

I agree, it's the kind of versions that when you listen it for the first time you think, I discovered a treasure!

I like the One More Night demo more than the Live version.

Her vocal for this song is sooooo good. Just wish it was flushed out better.

I find the alternate mix found on the deluxe edition to be far superior due to the richer sonic arrangement, largely due to the orchestration that they unfortunately nixed for the final mix.
