Default SYW article

Article from the Say You Will era... I hadn't seen it before so thought I'd share. Sorry if it's a repeat.

thanks for sharing, i don't think i've ever seen this one.

"Unshaven, sockless and wearing a beaten-up leather jacket, Lindsey Buckingham still does the ‘just out of bed’ look rather handsomely. He’s relaxed and attentive when we talk and has a gentleness about him"

sounds familiar

I liked that part too
There are lots of good quotes actually...good interview, and just a fun read.

Default SYW article

Another interview I came across that I had not seen before, and thought I'd share, from the SYW era

i wonder why this thread got moved out of the LB forum but the same thread stayed in SN forum? perhaps they should be consolidated (or i guess deleted from SN forum since nobody there reacted to it)?

Thank you!!!! Great interview that I don't remember reading before. Yay!!

Do you have the 2003 interview where Stevie talks about various songs she's written? The interviewer throws out titles, and Stevie talks about them, including "Running Through The Garden".

No I don't Mike, but it sounds like a very interesting read. If anyone has it, please share!

It was also Fleetwood, it seems, who put the most effort into trying to lure Christine McVie back for the Full Mac Monty: “I hear from Christine quite a lot” he says. “She would ring up and say: ‘How are you doing? How’s the album going?’ For a while it was maybe she will, maybe she won’t. She could still have come on board in the early stages of the recording, but as time went on that became impractical. Eventually I said to Lindsey: ‘My read on this – and I know Chris very well – is that this isn’t going to happen.’

Can you imagine?

Did the writer have to "go there" with the comment about Stevie ingesting cocaine through other orifices? That was pretty disrespectful.

Otherwise, pretty interesting article. Lindsey is an uncompromising artist--and that is something to respect. He must also be a real pain in the @#%&$ to deal with. His interview comments often sound like tiresome set speeches about his superior artistic integrity.

Oh--and that Rochester show Stevie mentioned: I remember it vividly! I had tickets for it. But she was obviously stuck in NYC--and the tour pretty much came to a halt.

Though Christine absence is explicitly mentioned, I don't like how it starts, cause is NOT the full Rumours line-up:

With the Rumours line-up of Fleetwood Mac effectively back together again,
