Am I the only one that loves Crystal Bowersox song Farmer's Daughter. I went to visit my mom this weekend and I finally saw the video. I can't quit playing it. I love the video and words and her voice is great. This song is different. I just love it.

Even though I'm in the UK I've always thought that American Idol is much better than the similar shows that Simon Cowell does over here. This is mainly because someone like Crystal Bowersox, who is so very much my taste in music, is much more celebrated on those shows in the US. No way would anyone like her do well in the UK, and as for her great song choices, we would never hear them. It sucks. I love Crystal. Her voice is incredible!

Farmer's Daughter (the album) is patchy though, but the title track is awesome. The tracks she has written herself (especially Speak Now) are all great and so just wait for album number 2 when she really gets going...

I've seen the video & I liked her when she was on AI. I don't really know if I like her musically now though. Yeah, it's kind of wait & see on what she does next. Hey, though if she came to our state fair (like Kelly Clarkson did), I'd go see her.
