Default Fleetwood Mac LIVE

Ken Caillat: "We recorded for over 60 concerts of Fleetwood Mac around the world. . . . There's plenty of live stuff."

Live performances . . . maybe the release of a compilation CD of several performances, or perhaps the release of several whole live shows from the recordings made of each tour . . . . ideas?

How bout a dvd for each tour. It can have like a greatest performances theme to it. They pick the best performances of each song on the tour and kind of combine them into a compilation of sorts. Throw in some onstage bloopers and back stage antics and drama just for fun!
Even those early/pre LB:Stevie ones would be great!

Ken i tell ya what...just hand over everything you got to a true Fleetwood Mac fanatic, like..umm..maybe... ME! , and let us have our way with it. We know what fans want to see and we can make you guys millions!

Bring on Billy! Bring on Billy! I know there are more pro-shot concerts with my main man out there somewhere!

It would be cool if they were released in a X# Volume set (s) you know, like when they release videos of t.v. shows? That would be cool!

Smile Oh, good one Michele!

I forgot how there must be alot of live TV performance appearances over the years, as it is, I count at least 70 songs that haven't been released from the BBC sessions going by what was listed in the Lewry book for BBC sessions against what was released on the "Live at the BBC" 2 CD set in 1995. and since then, there's probably been at least just as many as that with all the different members, lineups, etc. so those (although a DVD of those may be slightly preferrable they released "The early years" TV appearances on disc so why not the rest?) along with any other live stuff that is there, if they did release every live show that was recorded on the Tusk tour I'd buy each and every disc. Goes to show you how much I want these released! Although I would hope that there would be stuff from a variety of tours in the vaults. I wonder if Westwood One and some of those companies might have some good masters they could use? Anyway, here goes my sentence for all of these polls, if they got it, we want it!

I would have to agree... the Tusk Tour shows would be incredible to have out on just CD! And I know that there are more films or something put away somewhere that no one has seen... why not release those to!? Even the Tusk Documentary must have at least had that whole concert filmed. So why not release that? Just some ideas...

Default Thread closure

After much discussion about trying to secure the release of Fleetwood Mac material that is out of release or contained in Warner Brothers' vaults, Ken Caillat has directed our hopes toward a single test project first. This project is a DVD collection of approximately 10-12 Fleetwood Mac music videos and possibly some live performance footage. Please see Marty's "sticky" post at the top of this Q&A forum for more details. As that is the only release realistically in our grasp right now, we're closing this thread and invite you to please provide your input about what to include in the DVD collection. The success of this project may determine the possibility of getting some other kinds of Fleetwood Mac material released in the future. Thanks!
