This book has been trying to get published for a few years now. We'll see if it happens this time. It would be an interesting read as this is, I think, the lady who says that LB hit her

Yes, this would be the one who went on Geraldo - an episode about battered women. Apparently she felt it would be a great opportunity to debut her singing voice and she performed a song on the show as well (if I remember correctly). So this book wouldn't be the first time she's tried to cash in on her association with LB.

I read somewhere, don't remember where, that it's scheduled for July.

I remember some talk about the Geraldo thing, but I never heard anything about her singing on that show. She may have a few axes to grind, just wants to make money, etc but I still want to read it. Oh well, maybe we will actually learn something new about the band.

I had posted this on Micks board a few weeks ago, reaction from them seemed to be it was a pretty low ball thing... I would probably want to read it in a Borders or what have you cause I am interested, but I dont think I would spend $ for it

I'll pass...Since I can save $$$ reading what Ledgies will say about this book once it is released.

Btw, Only thing I can relate about the Geraldo show is the episode that Deb said she saw in regards to "Truman Capote's vault"

Deb meant "Al Capone's vault", so I still give her grief on that one.

I'll buy it, assuming that it does eventually get published. It was on Amazon U.K. a few years ago, then was removed.

I think somebody talked about Carol and this issue on one of the Q&A's. Or maybe it wan in an article in the Blue Letter archives. For some reason I think it was Richard Dashut or maybe Bob Aguirre.
