Am I the only one who thinks a lot of Matthew Sweet's melodies are VERY reminiscent of Christine's songs?
On his quieter songs there is an almost uncanny resemblance to Chris's sense of melody. Example: The chorus on "You're Not Sorry" from his Living Things album. |

I had to listen to a Matt Sweet because I'd never heard of him. I think you're right. Several songs, on several albums, have a very Christine/Lindsey background feel to them.

Richard Dashut produced his "Altered Beast" album (and Mick plays on it)
but aside from that, I think he has always had a Fleetwood Mac thing going on. |
