Default Has anyone seen this before?

I came across this clip in my travels on the net. I've never seen it before. Does anyone know if more exists? From The Penguin archives I'm guessing it's one of these dates:
June 1 Munich, Germany Olympic Horse Riding Stadium
June 3 Bremen, Germany Stadhalle
June 4 Cologne, Germany Sportshalle
June 8 Frankfurt, Germany Bertzenbrug Stadium
June 9 Zurich, Germany Hallenstadion Zurich

Yeah, that's all I've ever seen is just that clip of "Don't Stop." I figured the whole show (or a lot of it) had been shown on German TV. It was part of those European TV Reels that circulated in the 1980s from the bootlegger in Pacific Palisades. I always assumed it was the big outdoor show at Munich. It's not the Cologne show because we have that on cassette & the two don't match.

A long time ago on the ledge, I put out the word to the European ledgies to try to track down the rest of this TV footage. But they told me to eat **** & die.

Maybe there are some nicer ones out there now. In the left hand corner of that clip it says " 3 Sat." Could it mean that it was the June 3 Bremen show?

I think "3 Sat" must be a TV network in Germany. I have some Bonnie Tyler footage with the same logo in the corner.

Oops! Sorry it took me so long to respond, Amber.

I have an 8-hour tape of various Bonnie Tyler videos and TV appearances over the years... mainly stuff from German TV... but it gets a bit repetitive after a while. She'd do the rounds on various music & variety shows, singing or lip-synching whichever single she was promoting at the time... so I have five and six clips (more, in the case of songs like "Total Eclipse" and "It's A Heartache") of many of the songs.
I think the "3 Sat" logo appears on quite a few things, including... if I recall correctly... her performances from the 1986 Montreux Rock Festival.

Yes, it is. I could email them and ask about this footage. I remember a long time ago I sent them a letter about a Jim Morrison special they aired somewhere in the early 90's, and whether they could possibly air it again, and they did. It was on a Wednesday at 4 in the morning or something, but at least I could tape it.

This network has also aired a lot of the Montreux performances, but no Stevie yet.

I will email them now.

Btw, if you ask me, it was the June 8, 1980 show in the Betzenberg Stadion in Kaiserslautern, because that was part of the Open Air Festival, and it's definitely festival footage.

That was one of the most amazing Tusk tour clips I have seen. Thank you so much for sharing

I would do anything for the full concert of that tour.

Wow! That is an amazing clip...for various reasons. I can't believe the full broadcast has never been circulated!!???. It's the DVD concert that never was, and the one true fans deserve. First off, it's so rare to see them perform in daylight at an outdoor show! Secondly, they seem to be in peak performance --energetic and raw. Also, it's nice to see shots the audience dancing, partying...very Woodstock-ish. Lastly, it's so rare to them filmed like that; production-wise it's reminiscent of some great old concert documentaries that existed prior to the MTV generation, with no cheesy, pandering close up shots of some parent mouthing the lyrics with their 6 year kid.

I get that A LOT. I once asked a fan who recorded one of Stevie's Aussie shows if I could post the audio. She gave me the polite form of eat **** & die.
