Ticketmaster in OKC...

[estranged4life]

seems the long standing contract that the Ford Center had with Tickets.com expires tonight and will not be renewed, so OKC will now have Ticketmaster (aka Sticketbastard) as the ticket handler for all events...Man, I am dreading it since I never had any luck with tickets thru sticketbastard in the past.

Has anyone in a city that has tickets.com heard if their city will also lose tickets.com as their ticket provider?

This is sort of related, so I thought I'd share it. Back on the Dance tour for the Cincinnati show, I kept looking at ticketmaster and they never had a listing for that show. I waited and waited, called information in Cincinnati, but the problem was that the arena there had just been renamed from The Colesium to The Crown, so the info morons couldnt give me the #. Finally like 2 weeks before the show I called and someone FINALLY knew what I was talking about. The tickets for that show were being handled by another ticket agency. I still got 5th row center though, so it wa all good, but very frustrating at the same time.
