Default Stevie's rockin' & rollin' down in New Zealand

Stevie's rockin' down in New Zealand. The USGS reports a moderate earthquake magnitude 5.8 on Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the Kermadec Islands.

On the other hand, she probably didn't feel it. Its epicenter was about 620 miles northeast of Auckland (or 860 miles north-northeast of Wellington). I don't know what the site response is like in the rock Down Under there.

OMG! That is terrible.

However I'm sure Stevie has been through her share of quakes before. I hope she is ok and that all affected are ok as well!

Phew thank god Stevie isn't in New Zealand then, but yes I agree with Lux I have quite a few mates in New Zealand, but they are on South Island.

Earthquakes aren't too uncommon overthere anyway, it is kind of near a land slip zone.

Hope your family is OK Lux.
