Default Eyes of the World (SYW Version): GUITAR UPDATE

Alright, after a while of toying with this song, (and watching Live in Boston continously!) I think I've pretty much figured out an arrangement that works for a single guitar and that sounds darn close to what Lindsey plays. So here goes...!

Firstly, all strings are tuned down one step, so the tuning is really EbBbGbDbAbEb. And it really does sound better this way than in normal tuning! All chords relative to tuning.

Intro "jam" with Mick:

Bb-2-2---0-0---2-2---3-3---3-3---2-2---3-3---0-0---
Gb-2-2---1-1---2-2---6-6---2-2---2-2---2-2---1-1---

Repeat that once. Play each chord slowly, letting it ring out; it also sounds cool on an acoustic if you just keep on strumming each chord. Incidentally, this is the same as the RYTHYM part in the originally recorded version durring the "bah-bahs" in the beginning and the bridge. Now, the intro:

Again, repeat that once. You can leave the last couple of notes on the Db string out if that's too hard and it will still sound pretty darn good!

Chorus:

Here, lindsey holds with vibrato the 15th fret on the Bb string.
The rythym as far as I can tell is like this:

E (D shape) D E (D shape) A
Oh, oh, oh, EYES, oh, oh oh
E (D shape) D E (D shape) A
Oh, oh, oh, EYES, oh, oh oh
Strum that E really fast and then slide down to the D, then slide back up to the E, strum fast again, and go to the A. This part is sort of tricky to time right, so listen to LIB.

Second verse: same as first verse

Tuesdays children are filled with grace

Back and forth, lies unfurl

Repeat chorus twice.

I think I have BINGO! Oh.... sorry I am just jealous of people who can play guitar well, I have two left feet for hands when it comes to that kind of thing.
