I had something happen today that is bringing a tear to my eyes as I type about it. One of the board members here has given a gift to a very ill little girl I cherish deeply. A very special gift of music that she and I will enjoy together because we’ve never heard it. A gift that defines the true meaning of a fan and they’re love for sharing what they have with others.

I can’t begin to describe how this has helped her and I, but it’s good. No it’s fantastic. I looked at a few fan web sites to get demos. I knew everyone’s busy with the holidays and thought heck I’ll just buy some demos on ebay. Well much to my surprise one of you came foreword and not only helped but they’re mailing a special gift to this girl tomorrow.

I’ve been ignorant. Ignorant to the fact a few fans do stand behind what they say when they trade from they’re collections. I’ve never tried asking a trader. In the past I’ve bought demos off of ebay and a seller at high prices because I wasn’t patient enough or intelligent enough to even once ask a trader. You’re looking at a fool. I’ve probably bought $1000 in demos and I’m only up to the “Mirage” era. I haven’t bought in about a year but damn that would have bought a lot of blank CD’s. A little patience and brains would have found me an active trader.

I posted this for two reasons. 1st If you’re collecting and the traders aren’t active you can save a lot of money being patient and asking around. I know now a few of you really take pride in your collections and when approached patiently and properly things happen. 2nd. The person that stepped foreword to help this little girl may never know the impact of what they’ve done. I got the feeling they choose to remain anonymous so be it. All good things come full circle and it’s appreciated. “Happy Holidays to you and yours.”

Oh God I got this thread all mushy and it’s late so I’ll let it go. There’s plenty of time to troll this Ledgie, sucking up to every word they type. I’ll also be bashing anyone that disagrees with them weather they’re right or not. From this day foreword I’m they’re guardian terrrrminatah. I’m just kidding Clarence. Oops
