Stevie songs never performed

While Stevie holds onto a core group of Fleetwood Mac songs that she plays to death -- Rhiannon, Landslide, Dreams, Gold Dust Woman and Stand Back etc... there's a long list of songs that she has never performed in concert. Since Beautiful Child was such an unprecedented surprise, which of these songs do you think could feasibly be pulled out for future performance:

I tend to think that any of the older songs are stronger, more likely candidates...such as Crystal or Storms. And why the hell haven't they done I Don't Want To Know??? The only Rumours track never performed live -- and such a great Buckingham Nicks song!

As far as the new ones, aside from Destiny Rules and Running Through The Garden (criminal that these songs were dropped), Thrown Down, Illume and Smile At You.

While the shows on this tour have been great...it is painfully obvious that, while Lindsey has choosen to be progressive and move forward with new songs, Stevie is staunchly regressive -- safely (and frustratingly) clinging to past glories, with just a mere 2 two new songs. Ahhh!

I think Stevie plays those same songs over and over again because those are very popular songs that even someone who doesn't regularly listen to FM would know those songs. There are probably many fans who come to the concerts who are really only aware of the Rumours stuff and they expect to hear it.
Of course I would love to hear some of her lesser know songs especially Storms. I think I Don't Wanna Know would be great for her and Lindsey to do also.

Is it just me or does Fleetwood Mac always play it safe when they tour. The Setlists always begin with a combination of The Chain Dreams and another song. The main set always seems to end with something like GYOW and the show always ends with a ballad. Why don't they ever do more rarities and respect the true fans that have come not only to hear the hits but to hear the other songs that are just as good as any of there hit songs.
I would love to hear Seven Wonders, Storms, Sara, I Don't Wanna Know, That's Enough For Me, The Second Time and Caroline live in concert.

I think "I Don't Wanna Know" would be fantastic to hear. Unfortunately, i don't think Stevie could sing in that same key for that song. They would have to drop it down a few keys.

The ones that stand out for me are "Crystal", "Storms" and "Everybody Finds Out".

"Crystal" could work now. This was a B/N song and was rerecorded for the FM white album. I think a majority of the peeps at the concerts would recognize it. And it's a really nice song too.

I just popped "Storms" into my car cd player today....haven't heard it in a while but it just popped into my head so i had to hear it. As i was listening to it i was thinking about the article before the tour that said they were rehearsing this song (plus "Monday Morning") for the tour. I wasn't 100% sure if it would have worked...but actually, the more i listened to it i thought it could. If "Beautiful Child" worked then why couldn't this one. The lyrics are great and it's really a great emotional song that says a lot. I think it would be wise for Stevie to showcase this one if the opportunity arises.

"Everybody Finds Out" has got to replace "Stand Back"....i'm sorry, i know Stevie gets pumped for "Stand Back" but why can't she kick it up a few notches for this one? She relies too much on that song to get the crowd going...EFO obviously has the same stamina and energy and it's new....so come Stevie let everyone find out what the hell it is you fear they're going to find out!!!

I think they ditched Storms simply because Stevie has too many slow songs for the tour. Beautiful Child, Landslide, Goodbye Baby, Silver Springs (kind of). I mean, there's not enough production in Storms to make it "nontransferable" to the stage.

She sang those first two lines of Frozen Love in Chicago without hesitation, so that could be done. I don't think she can do the high harmony on I Don't Want To Know anymore. She could sing everything on that list with the exception of Smile At You, IMO.

It was on the mirage rehearsals.
Sounds fabulous to me, but I guess the band didn't think so.

I agree. And Fireflies would be appropriate on this tour, but again, I wonder about the vocal.

As I've said before, Crystal would be great as a duet.

I kind of like the fact that Stevie has largely kept her solo career separate from her career with Fleetwood Mac. I remember when she first went solo with Bella Donna. It was a little disconcerting to hear Fleetwood Mac classics like Dreams, Gold Dust Woman and Rhiannon reinvented and played live by a band that wasn't Fleetwood Mac. In hindsite, it now makes sense --they were her songs, and she needed to pad her concert set.

Conversely, it was equally disconcerting to hear Fleetwood Mac perform Stand Back and Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You (starting with the Rick Vito/Billy Burnette version of the band.)

Stand Back has become a Fleetwood Mac concert staple because it embodies so much energy. But I can't see/hope the band never delves into more obscure Stevie solo tracks...there are too many great unperformed Fleetwood Mac tracks!!! Save the Stevie solo tracks for her solo tours.

The suggestion that Stevie replace Stand Back with Everybody Finds Out is a great one! It does have the same energy. And since radio hit singles appear to be a thing of the past...there is no better way to establish new classics other than to perform them!!

It does kind of suck that she only does the big hits this tour with few surprises. Even though it would have been cool to see them on one of their recent tours after reading over setlists I didn't feel like I was missing out on much.

As far as her ballads I think Storms beats the pants off of Landslide. Plus, every time I hear them doing Landslide I always end up wishing it was with Billy Corgan's guitar solo anyways. Landslide is one of those songs that says a lot lyrically but Storms really does it for me much more on a musical level, which overall just makes it better.

Straight Back is one of her best songs but I get the impression that it would never come across as well as the album version.

As far as them playing Stand Back, I don't understand why they feel the need to include one of her solo songs. Same with Lindsey when he'd do Go Insane. Stand Back is sort of corny, they could have at least picked Edge Of 17.

Paper Doll I think would fit in the set nicely somewhere. When I first started getting into the band digging into my dad's Chain boxed set it was one of my favorite songs on it to listen to. I think that one might be a little too far fetched of a choice though.

Besides maybe one or two others on your list Penguinhead I don't think I'd care to hear any of those other ones. Now that Stevie's rehabbed and in fine singing voice I don't think I'd be able to appreciate When I See You Again without being able to laugh at it.

I Don't Wanna Know was one of the first FM songs I'd ever heard, and is still one of my favroites... I'd love seeing that one performed. Also, Firefiles and No Questions Asked would sound cool live.
