Post Second leg set list suggestions

Pending an extended second leg of the tour, below is my ideal set list to highlight some changes from the first leg. Granted, I suppose the band will not change much, if any, of the lineup of songs they are currently performing. However, below are the songs I would like to see highlighted in concert, and I tried to be as realistic as possible. Read my list and then see my comments beneath the song list.

The Chain
Dreams
Monday Morning
Peacekeeper
Second Hand News
Say You Will
Never Going Back Again
Rhiannon
Bleed To Love Her
Seven Wonders
Destiny Rules

Acoustic Set:
Big Love
Landslide
Say Goodbye
I Don’t Want To Know

What’s the World Coming To
Gold Dust Woman
Thrown Down
What Makes You Think You’re The One
Silver Springs
Tusk
Stand Back
Go Your Own Way

World Turning
Don't Stop

Goodbye Baby

“Monday Morning” over “Eyes of the World”---“Eyes” was good, but I feel making the change to “Monday Morning” would provide a more familiar song to the audience and highlight this song the Mac has seemed to forgotten.

”Bleed to Love Her” over “Come”---because “Bleed” is great in concert and it’s time to highlight other “new” songs, even though this was a staple of the DANCE tour. (Oh well, it’s a personal favorite!)

“Gypsy”, though a Mac classic, is sounding as uninspired and as stiff as it did during THE DANCE concerts. The only highlight of the song live nowadays is at the end with Lindsey’s amazing guitar work. “Seven Wonders” is well known enough and is also an ‘80s Mac highlight.

I’m picking “Destiny Rules” over “Beautiful Child.” Am I the only one who was under whelmed by “Beautiful Child”??? It’s fine enough on TUSK, but “Destiny” is a great new track and belongs in the set promoting a new album.

Add: “I Don’t Want To Know”---the only song not performed off RUMOURS since reuniting in ‘97!

“Thrown Down”: no explanation needed---a potential single and a song featuring much Buckingham/Nicks interaction.

Finally, “What Makes You Think You’re The One” over “I’m So Afraid”, which is starting to sound a little tired nowadays, too, except of course for Lindsay’s phenomenal guitar work. “Afraid” is one of my favorite Mac tunes, but it was beaten into the ground last time around, and “WMYTYTO” is, correct me if I’m wrong, one of Lindsay’s all time favorite Mac tunes.

I’d love to see “Red Rover”, “Illume”, “Miranda” and “Everybody Finds Out”---but I don’t see them doing these.

What do you think? Let’s see other lists!

Landslide
Say Goodbye
I Don’t Want To Know

Miranda
Gold Dust Woman

"I Don't Want to Know," to the best of my knowledge, has never been done live by the Mac. It's the only Rumours track to have that distinction - not just since '97, but '77. I believe there is a boot out somewhere of it being performed by BN before joining Fleetwood Mac.

Anyway, I would like to see:

Monday Morning/Second Hand News - Let's go old school to open the show.
Dreams
Peacekeeper/Miranda
Say You Will
Oh Well
Come
Rhiannon
What Makes You Think You're the One
Never Going Back Again
Landslide
Big Love
Say Goodbye
Beautiful Child/Smile at You
Seven Wonders/Gypsy
Steal Your Heart Away
Thrown Down/Destiny Rules
I'm So Afraid/Tango in the Night
Tusk
Gold Dust Woman
Blue Letter/The Ledge
Everybody Finds Out

The Chain
Don't Stop

Goodbye Baby/HAEWAFY (just L&S, two mics, and a guitar...for either song)
Go Your Own Way - I always thought they should just knock the place down with this song and end the show with an extended guitar-solo on it.

Where I listed two songs, I'm thinking they could rotate one of the two into the set every other night.

I can only wish. I have also hoped that they might perform songs from the 90's albums . I mean "The Second Time" is a great ballad. However knowing that Lindsey wasn't in the band then, it is doubtful that we will ever hear these songs again.

I definitely think they should play at least one of the Buckingham Nicks songs like Frozen Love or Crying in the Night. I would love to hear Monday Morning and Blue Letter from Lindsey because they rock. In terms of Stevie's songs I think that I Don't Want to Know would be cool and maybe could replace Say Goodbye. I like Gypsy but it's not the best live so maybe replace it with 7 Wonders. And then any of Stevie's songs from Tusk would be awesome! I really enjoy Beautiful Child in concert but maybe she could Storms or Sara instead and of course SOTM.

I would love to hear them do Thrown Down. As far as the classics go, they should bring back Don't let me down again, Angel, SOTM. Songs that they have never done as a band but solo if you get my drift... would be to see Twisted, Gold and Braid, Soul Drifter.

Wow so far I've only seen a couple suggestions for pre-'75 mac. What I don't understand is why can't Stevie try to sing some of Christine's songs? It would be cool if Lindsay could sing some Kirwan/Welch stuff too. This is no setlist, just songs that I want to hear, arranged whatever way. Going semi-chronologicaly is the only way I can do it. LOL

Morning Rain
Future Games
Sentimental Lady
Albatross
Child Of Mine (lindsay could tear this up!)
The Ghost
Heroes Are Hard To Find
The City (would go over great in New York!)

Emerald Eyes
Hypnotised (lindsay did good on it before)
Believe Me
The Chain
Gold Dust Woman
Never Going Back Again
You Make Lovin' Fun
Landslide
Crystal
What Makes You Think You're The One
Storms
Tusk
Think About Me
That's Enough For Me
Brown Eyes
Never Forget
Hold Me
Little Lies
Big Love
Silver Springs

Encores

Sisters Of The Moon
Go Your Own Way

I don't have the new CD so I can't include any of those songs. I don't trust new material from old hands anyways.

Voice range maybe? I'm glad she's not trying to (except for the "Don't Stop" and "World Turning" parts). I tend to think that some of Christine's songs would fit better into Lindsey's range. I would like to hear "You Make Loving Fun" sung by him, for instance. Or "Isn't It Midnight" perhaps?
