Can we agree it was misconstrued and not worth bickering about? Or should I replace bickering with an adjective you're both comfortable with?

Seriously, what's the latest on this topic. Is there a 2013 tour, will it be Greatest Hits, will it have additional or different deep cuts, will there be a FM album come 2013/14.. etc..

I think what CA is trying to say is that Christine McVie is the only reason Fleetwood Mac exists and that my posts are the most interesting.

I sort of agree.

After reading several of the posts where TrueFaith and CADreaming tirelessly "debate" a semantic non-issue, I just started scrolling past their posts in this thread. I was surprised that I had to scroll through two pages to get past it, though! Geez Louise!

At any rate, I don't know about other Mac fans, but I am definitely going to see Fleetwood Mac on this tour. After all, you never know when it could be their last, and I do miss them as it's been three years since I've last seen the band play.

However, as hardcore as I am, I only went to two Mac shows on the Unleashed tour because it was the same-old, same-old (and also because I couldn't stand to see Stevie staring out at the crowd with empty eyes while singing the end part of "Silver Springs"). If that's what we get this time around, attending one show will be enough for this hardcore.

This from a girl who went to an obscene amount of shows on the Say You Will tour.

Apologies all, I shouldn't have dragged y'all into our fun. I should have taken it private.

You've made it impossible to go private when your sig reads:

Fleetwood Mac is trending on Twitter. People have said they should perform during Halftime at the Super Bowl.

I think they should in celebration of Rumours 35th year, which ends the day after that Super Bowl, February 4.

Shall we get the word out?

I wasn't blaming CAD, I was blaming myself. I should have solicited CAD to PM.

Madonna was being talked about for Halftime in the news in October 2011, I think, and she officially announced in December.

By then, it will be their 36th year, would it not? What do you mean it "ends" on that day? Forgive my ignorance on the subject.

Now, 1997, that's how you commemorate an anniversary. Ever since then, nothing, not even in 2007. It's kind of disappointing, frankly. Stevie and Lindsey were both doing their solo thing then, as they are now.... but couldn't they do at least one show? It's not as if they have to rehearse that much. Ah well, it's useless to wish for what might have been.

I meant that from february 4 2012-february 4 2013 is the 35th year. the super bowl is on february 3, so that would be the day before the 36th year starts...i think, right? forgive me, the jersey heat is making me hazy, ha!

i agree. the dance was a great celebration.

Hmmm. My posts on the subject totaled 4 and they weren't very long. At least it was a debate on something other than the Stevie & Lindsey wars, which have brought these boards to a virtual non-existence before.

And, in my last post to TrueFaith, I did say:

Hey, it's all good. If people don't want to read the posts, they can scroll past them.

Oops - back to the topic!

Some things never change!

(Unless I'm misunderstanding you and you're saying that these no longer occur, and your reference to the wars dominating the board was meant to refer to a long while ago. It can be read both ways, and I have little context.)

Hey, regardless, I'd love them to play the Superbowl.
