Good thoughts, please

If you have a minute, send some good thoughts my way. My little bird Banjo is very very sick. I spent most of the weekend at the animal ER with him. Barely slept. We aren't sure what is wrong. He has been too weak to take blood to do tests. He is on cipro and another medication for the things the vet guessed were wrong. He was fine yesterday and today. But now he seems to have taken a turn for the worse. There absolutely nothing I can do. All the ER can do is give him oxygen and heat. I am giving him heat already. He is breathing fine and his heartbeat is strong. I checked it. He doesn't need oxygen. All I can do is wait and hope he makes it through the night. Wish us luck.

Hi...I sure hope eveything is OK. I know that feeling of helplessness and it is one of the worst. I pray that Banjo finds his way to healing asap and your mind is free from worry. Thank you for taking such good care of him.

Banjo is just about the cutest name ever. What kind of bird is he? Good luck tomorrow; I'm glad he's doing a a bit better now.
