lol! Deformed limb is one way of putting it,but,yes I think Australia and Ireland are one and the same really. But to others,it seems,something as little as having a shamrock tattoo makes them Irish...and 'trendy'!

I assumed it meant that he was born or lived there because if someone asks me my nationality, I'm a New Zealander with a Kiwi mother and an Australian father. Obviously I'm not Australian Aboriginal nor Maori.

Depends. Usually, they mean where their ancestors are originally from. As for me, my dad was actually born in Bulgaria, my mom was born in the U.S., as were her parents.
