It's funny how people will talk about the importance of giving women a voice, but still feel comfortable putting words into their mouths. Last edited by sodascouts; 07-11-2018 at 08:38 PM.. |

HOWEVER, if she did make the claim, she'd look like a freaking IDIOT, after pretending to still be in love with him for the past 43 years.

My take is that he didn’t abuse Stevie. She or her people would have said something about it by now if it had happened. She was all too comfortable playing the victim, especially during SA, to not have let it slip by now. If anything, Stevie admitted she got physical with him.
That said, Lindsey all but admits he had issues back in the day. I don’t really doubt he got physical with CAH, but that wouldn’t have had an impact on the band. He was absolutely no saint, but he got help and made positive changes. What’s the statute of limitations on something like that? The biggest reason she didn’t want to make another album with him is because she mostly didn’t enjoy making albums with him. Rumours wasn’t fun for her, Tusk, Mirage, TITN, and SYW weren’t fun for her…. Why would the next one be fun? And, for as much pride as she had with IYD, its lack of sales legitimately made her question the value of going through the process. (Personally, my response would be for art’s sake.)

And I don't think she's pretending to still be in love with him. I think she still is. She has a hate-love relationship with him like never seen before.

You and Button seem to have a love/hate thing with Stevie as well. I know you'll say it's a "hate/hate" thing. But the whole time I've bet on this board, years, it's all you two talk about 🤔 Bitter and scorned. Awe, please, have a Zima😋 Before it's gone.

Please don't try to police other's thoughts here. Button and I are entitled to our opinions, as are you. I'd like for you to post more hateful things about $tevie Nick$. Can you handle that? And lastly, I prefer bourbon, on the rocks. Not that p*ssy Zima garbage.

Please, tell me where in my post I trashed sweet Stevie. Don’t they have a love-hate relationship? Please, as a Stevie fan, enlighten me.
