![]() Although I did just notice that you agreed with Joe that "Angel" is "easily Stevie's worst track on 'Tusk.'" So, again, I can't quite figure out why you started voting for "Sara" in the very first round of the very first game... especially if you agree that "Angel" is Stevie's worst song on the album... if there wasn't some kind of agenda to eliminate the song which is considered the favorite amongst the Stevie Fans. Not to mention all the aggression towards it getting immunity. With "Sara" protected, why not just go after "Angel" then? Since it's Stevie's "worst on the album"? If you had, then you wouldn't have had to complain that she still had five songs left in the Top 9. ![]() But, hey, no need to explain really... I'd just get the runaround anyway. ![]() "Sisters" is going tonight though, so maybe that'll make the kiddies happy. ![]()

![]() On the album, the song simply goes nowhere and it's incredibly dull. Live, though, it's more multi-layered than any of her other songs. There's just something about how she conveys the song each time that draws me to it; the tone of her voice, her expressions, the emotions are essentially different each time and make up for the somewhat blandness of the song as a whole. It doesn't work that way for me on Tusk and ends up just boring me to tears. Quote:
Her best Tusk songs are Storms and Beautiful Child. Sisters of the Moon is good, but not good enough to have lasted so long. As for the rest of your long-winded post, you've obviously never heard of strategy. You've also obviously never heard of giving it up, either, but that's neither here nor there. There are onyl so many times you can say the same things in the same thread wihtout it becoming monotonous. However, I think you're running neck-in-neck with Carne for the most antagonistic poster 'round these here parts. ![]()

![]() But, seriously, don't mistake my comments for antagonism... I'm just joshing you. You dish it out in heaps, so I figured you can take it too. ![]() And like I said before, I honestly don't care which song "wins"... something like this is meant entirely for entertainment, and shouldn't be considered some sort of validation. ![]()

I'm glad it got so far, but there are better Stevie songs on this album. This actually is the worst song left in my opinion.

Howdy everyone. Well I just got back from Atlantic City and a helluva show, to see how this game has turned into quite an angry thread! Nancy, Nancy, I leave for ONE night and look what you do
Okay. First - debates over the rules. We said from the beginning that we were sticking by our rules to avoid decisions that would make us seem partial to one side or another. It may seem picky, may seem unfair, may seem downright stupid at times - but there are rules for a reason. A game needs rules, or else it's just a fight. So when we say no vote changing, we gotta go with that. I realize the vote was cast for a non-existent song, but Nancy had to make the call and I stand by her. It didn't affect the outcome, so it doesn't matter. Second - this whole 'Sara' dilemma. This is SURVIVOR. Not everyone playing watches the show and that's fine. But that's what this is! It's about scheming, it's about alliances and outmaneuvering people. Carne started that last time, but he got carried away. Look at it this way - this isn't a game that proves which is the best song. It's a game where people band together to save their favorite songs and try to keep them in. You may not like what's going on (I'm right there with ya, I personally think Sara/Storms are very weak songs compared to others) but that's the POINT of this. Consider yourselves lucky because in real Survivor once you're out, you're OUT. In this one you get to keep voting and try to make a difference. Does the best player always win Survivor? Nope, it's the one who avoids votes and then wins people over in the end. It's funny because, this whole thing's turning into just like a real season of "Survivor", if you look how people are reacting to things. Not a bad thing, in my opinion, but interesting. Third - Don't take things so personally, and don't get mad at us! It's a GAME. If you are angry about the results, then don't read the dang thread. If you don't like the way we do it, don't play! Because when people get really ticked off at us, it's not fun to run it anymore. Ahem. Nancy/I aren't gonna argue about any discrepancies any longer. We're remaining as impartial as we can, sticking to the rules and that's all we can do! Don't blame me, please be strong! I know I'm not wrong. Kudos to Nancy for keeping the boat afloat during my absence! Gaaaaaame on.
