Hey Guys,
Maybe I'm the only weird ledgie who does this. But do any of you sum up how your life is at a certain point in time with a Mac / Stevie / Lindsey song? I'd have to think my life is very "Sorcerer" right now. What about you guys? Or am I just that one weird ledgie ![]() |

I'm sure you're not the only strange Ledgie. I suppose you have to be strange to follow the Mac these days
Anyways, I've always been able to relate to Storms when it came to my emotional state and life. It was eery the first time I ever heard it when I listened to the lyrics. It felt like it was written entirely for me. |

For the longest time in my life it was I'm so Afraid. Now it's probably Something Like Steal Your Away.

"slip and i fall and i die" part always sounds to me like a fear of heights - like if you are on a really high bridge or rooftop or somewhere like that and if you go too close to the edge you'll somehow slip, fall and die... |

I don't know....but At the time.....I wanted to die. So it resonated that way.

When there were lyric interpretations, people said that ISA might have originated when Lindsey's mononucleosis (or whatever illness he had; it's unclear, according to Lindsey) was lingering, but the lyrics have a panic to them that seem to amount to more than that. Michele |

I took it literally Because that's how I was feeling at the time. Afraid, alone and just awful. Whatever it really means. I don't know.

As for me, it's hard to say, but I know that, when I was breaking up with my ex last year, that Go Your Own Way was our theme song in the end, but as of now, I can't think of anything. |

I'm gonna go with "Oh Well" since we aren't locked into "Rumours" era only on this one.
The lyrics just kind of sum up how I feel about things. I'm an honest person, sometimes too honest or brutally so and those lyrics by Peter Green have just always resonated very deeply with me. There was a time when "Freedom" and "Love Is Dangerous" both summed up what was going on with me too, but not now. Lindsey's whole "Out of the Cradle" CD just slammed me in the face when it came out!! It was a tough period for me and the whole CD helped me through it immensely. Really helped me move forward from a not so great place in life back then. Lots of postive vibes on that CD and every time I hear it it lifts me up, even if I don't need it. Thanks for starting this thread!! Very cool idea and topic.
