While it is possible he may have added it to appear cultured, it still remains a beautiful song I just love it because I sang it a long, long, long, long time ago and actually did it some credit, although no where near the credit it deserves, etc. I mean I think the Flower Duet from Lakme is overplayed but that cannot take away from its alarmingly beautiful nature But, I love your choices as well.

Personally, my pretty much fav. (it changes ) is the duet from the Pearl Fishers - sheebus~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

These kind of bands have a very 'here today,gone tomorrow' quality about them. There's an insincerity somewhere in the bombastic nature of their songs..almost like they're acting.I can't stand that.

I think it rules that Mick likes Velvet Revolver! I'm surprised that there were no Beatles tunes...Can you even get Beatles songs? Another interesting "link" in the chain - "Why" was also released on the Boys On The Side soundtrack on which Stevie also has a track.
