What song would you choose for the SYW album title?

Destiny Rules sounds cheesy as hell, IMO, just as cheesy as Say You Will.

Come is short and sweet (shut up, you wise asses) and sounds less flakey.

The album is named, so it really doesn't matter much.
But 'Come' sounds too pedestrian when taken in one context, and too crass when taken in the other context.

One can find crassness everywhere they turn, and, as I said, Fleetwood Mac is not some cocky, let's-get-laid heavy metal band. They can do better than an album titled 'Come,' in my opinion.

Come as a title would better represent the album than Destiny Rules. Destiny Rules sounds like it could be the name of a cheesy, early-nineties pop album by Belinda Carlisle.

However, I highly doubt that upon first hearing of the title, people would think of it in a crass way. It's Fleetwood Mac, for cripes sake.

No, I think those titles represent their respective albums well, whereas Say You Will does not. It's too sunny for such a dark album.

"Destiny Rules" would make a statement... "Come" is just a lonely verb, without anything to qualify it.
'Mirage' and 'Rumours' were effective because they're nouns... not just because they were "short and sweet" titles.

There is absolutely no way you can use "Come" as a stand-alone word, and not have people's minds automatically go to the gutter.

Now that you mention it, "Illume" is WAY better than "Destiny Rules" as a title. For sure.

But "Destiny Rules" is still a better and more fitting title than "Come," in my opinion.

I was referring to your hatred of Destiny Rules as a title, not SYW.

Illume is a beautiful word, but I can see it more as a Stevie solo album title than FM. I thought I liked it as a title for a second, but I actually kinda think that one is cheesy...sounds like an Enya album or something.

Oh, lord! I was about 8 when that album came out and I played it to death. I've been pro-peace since birth, and I remember thinking "hell yeah" with the title song. What was I thinking?!

I think any of the songs would have been appropriate but I would've been scared if it Say Goodbye or Goodbye Baby

And what's this about a Peacekeeper music video...I've never heard of it, I actually don't think that would be such a bad name for the album. My favourite would be Running Through The Garden or Everybody Finds Out Everbody Finds Out, I just think thats brilliant.

Why does it have to be named for a song, Mirage wasn't, Penguin wasn't...Rumours wasn't....Then Play On wasn't....Time wasn't....

Fleetwood Mac - Dark Corridors (I dunno, because of the darkness of the album and a corridor leads you to the unknown...just like with the band, who knows where they will end up....)

Fleetwood Mac - Colour (Because I like the way the Brits spell words. Rumours...Colour...LOL Ironic because they don't WEAR color, the cover is gray, they are in all black. You also have colors in songs, Red Rover...Silver Girl...uhhh...Gardens have flowers that are colorful, Illume reminds me of light and color...I don't know. )

Regardless if the song itself is torturous, the title "From A Distance" worked great, IMO.

Stevie can save those flakey statements for a solo album. Great song, terrible name. It's just soooooooooo cheesy.
