What about Lindsey's eye issue? Was there a bandaid, stitches, dried blood (LOL) anything?

Christy's only asking because she hopes the bandaid is still there in TX. She wants to ziplock bag it, capture the DNA and make a Lindsey clone

Talking Whooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Quick points:

My brother and I ended up front with the rest of the first three rows Right in front of Lindsey's mic! (We got 3rd row at the last minute)

I met Mike B. It was good to meet you!

Silver Springs was gone again. Stevie seemed VERY drained while not at the mic, but I think it had a lot to do with the heat. Her singing was not effected at all if she is feeling under the weather. Stand Back was rocking though! I have a lot of respect for that woman, if she really is feeling like crap that she was sticking it out for us. She just seemed drained and unhappy until she got at the mic and she gave it to us!!!!!! (I say unhappy because she was crying during a few songs). She gave a STRONG performance overall, but in my opinion, my perception was telling me she was feeling a bit off tonight (psychically/emotionally I guess you would say) I think touring is really getting to her.

Lindsey was VERY winded after "Come" right into "Sara," he looked right at me and his eyes got big, he was sort of like "oh my God." Totally out of breath. I worry about him The cut over his eye was covered with some derma bond stuff. Lindsey sang towards Sharon and Jana at the end of "Sara" in the part where they harmonize beneath Stevie's melody line.

Stevie got a cowboy hat from someone in the audience during GYOW and put it on her head for the rest of the song. I got some great pics of that!

OK More later..... sleepy. My younger brother, Will, (he's 17) was with me. This was his first FM show and he says it's the best concert he's ever been to. He couldn't believe how close we were. He said he felt so honored to be a part of such history. He really had an amazing time!!!!!!!

And we were like 4 deep in the front row... The crowd was rocking, the place was full, but MAN was it hot!!!!!!

Same here, Merf!

I hope someone got alot of pictures of Stevie in the cowboy hat...damn, that was cool.

I'm still pissed they dropped Silver Springs (and DR...and DLMDA) though. It was weird hearing ISA lead right into Tusk. And is it just me or does the drum solo leading up to Stand Back and Mick's "vesterbation" (TM ChiliD) during WT get longer with every show? Sheesh.

Still, this one held quite a few high points for me. I thought Sara sounded really good tonight and Red Rover is amazing. Sara should have been in the set all along, it comes off way better than Gypsy. And IKINW is alot of fun.

It was damn hot though...Lindsey looked really worn out during parts of the show (not that it affected his performance). They better get used to it, they've got a long hot summer ahead of them!

Folks, let's have some compassion here. Doesn't anyone care that Stevie may actually be suffering from something that is not necessarily obvious on stage but is real? She already dropped a song, Destiny Rules, to protect her voice. Couldn't Silver Springs be a similar situation?

Let's just all hope she gets better from whatever it is. And if Silver Springs stays out of the set, so be it.

Carne? Compassion for Stevie?!?! Well i'll be damned...

:quickly marks date on calendar:

You are full of surprises my friend

Of course we all have compassion for Stevie. If she's sick, I certainly hope she gets well soon and that they're taking very good care of her out on the road.

Why so surprised? Think about it this way. As a fan, why would I want her to screw up her voice. If staying healthier means forgoing a couple of songs, so be it. Actually, Silver Springs is something I was looking forward to, but I'll be OK without it.

Come to think of it, the more Stevie songs get zapped from the setlist, the closer I get to my wish of a solo Lindsey tour!

(Now you didn't expect me not to take a little zing, did you?)

I know. I hope she recovers quickly. Maybe she'll even perform Silver Springs at Jones Beach. Crossing my fingers, but not despairing it she doesn't.

That's a great picture of the cowboy hat. I was really surprised that she picked it up, let alone put it on.

Ahhh and classic Carne is back Solo Lindsey tour....someday... she says with doubt in her voice....

So, you're going to Jones Beach. Heading to any other shows? I had thought about Jones Beach but a friend of mine got tickets for Holmdel in the 2nd row and 4th row for Hershey so the trek to Jones Beach is essentially out of the question now.

Jones Beach is it for me. In all seriousness, as much as I love music, I hate the concert-going experience. Big crowds bother me, to begin with, and there's always a few jerks in the audience who detract from enjoying the show. Last time I was at Jones Beach was for ... Sade (excellent stage presence, very classy, great voice, great band. Gorgeous!) Before that, I had gone to the Colisseum for FM, after which I pretty much wrote off arena shows.

I'll take an intimate show at Irving Plaza or Roseland any day before I go to another big-venue show. I'm making the exception for Jones Beach because it's my birthday. I hope I don't end up regretting it.
