Not to sound negative (too late) but as long as the cash keeps rolling Mick's way, JT will get to do whatever he wants. I'm almost sickened by the realization that everytime the man (MF) opens his mouth, his primary goal is dollars (or pounds) in the bank. His dedication to his "fans, and the band and the music" is just an excuse for his dedication to cold hard cash.

Honey...didn't you know that the Fleetwoods are going to retire to Hawaii to bring up the babies and that Mrs Fleetwood has a passion for new kitchens every three months?
It takes dollars......so is it any wonder?

Default I know what you mean

I know what you mean, Mike, about sounding negative. At critical junctures in the fan club history, I've been guilty of being quite negative. I wasn't always that way, though. When I first went to Mick's board last year, before JT started the fan club, I was one of the supportive people. I wanted to believe (against my better judgment...knowing Mick's history) that the fan club was a true outreach for the band. I wanted to believe it was more than a money grab...something of a thank you to the fans. I was wrong and I feel foolish for letting my enthusiasm for the new cd and tour get in the way of my knowledge of how these people in the music business operate. Business is business. I understand that. Mick has always shown himself to be motivated by money, but I'm sure the others are too, they're just not as, in your face about it. I'm not saying the band doesn't deserve the money, either.

The one thing I don't agree with, and I refuse to accept, is the way the fan club director misled people at the outset and refuses to admit mistakes were made. When you screw up, you admit it, make amends, and all is forgiven. I was once a supporter and I left the fold as soon as it was clear to me the fan club was never about the fans. When important questions were asked and the fan club began an orchestrated campaign to stop questions and to smack down fans who asked them, I was never going back again.

At first I tried to be diplomatic about my issues with the fan club and how it was being run. Then the orchestrated flames were thrown at everyone who dared question the Knight and the club. I flamed back, but not for my own gain, and not just for the fun of it. I'm not into being the loose cannon on a message board. I just refuse to let that dude harrass me after I trusted him with my money and my personal information by joining the fan club. I felt I had a right to speak out and to ask questions. I was one of the first to ask how the ticketing through ticketmaster was going to work, and questioned why he chose to do it that way, especially to use our screen names as our tickemaster passwords. Anyone with half a brain could see that was never going to work! There was still plenty of time at that point to conduct the ticketing directly through Mick's board...if the club had really wanted to do what was best for the fans.

JT getting hopping mad now seems a little silly. Don't you think? It's not as if he didn't know a long time ago that scalpers had all the good seats. We said so after the first pre-sale. It fell on deaf ears, for the most part. This whole issue of unsecure access to the fan club ticket block is a breech of the fan club agreement. I said so when I got my refund. If there are still people out there waiting to get refunds, all I can say is...what's stopping you now?

Of course you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you never asked for a refund, and you bought then resold lousy fan club seats, you more or less agreed what happened was ok. I'm ok, if you're ok with it. I've stopped posting about the issue because I figured it was no longer important to most fans. Now that Mick's board is enraged about this scalper, I'm a little curious to see what happens next, if anything. The truth is in the details. Let's see if anything really happens.

The whole thing reminds me of the policeman in Casablanca who said "I'm shocked!...shocked!...to find gambling going on in here!" ...while literally grabbing his cut ($$) under the table at the same time. Whether the outrage on Mick's board is just for show remains to be seen. If the band isn't just taking their cut and keeping their mouths shut, I'd expect to hear something specific's being done about it, soon. Let's wait and see.

You could ask "Pix" to ask JT for you. But you may want to PM Trinity, seems "Pix" avoids my posts and deflects my questions about "Pix" being who they are. So you know, "Pix" did create a thread here earlier today but deleted it after I brought my question to the plate again. But at least PIX cant ban me from this board.

Pix isn't exactly the "pix" of the litter when it comes to being honest, y'all should know that by now. Tsk-tsk! Why don't we just ask him about the kick-backs he took from the Knight? Then maybe he'll delete his account instead of his posts!

Now...I wonder what alias Miss Mick Balls is posting under...

Well, it is quite obvious to ME that JT may be trying to make himself look better in this the last hour, to redeem himself, lest someone who is making a decision were to read Mick's site and take note that all it seems to be is a butt kissing kingdom to one man. WE know that he reads what we say

"How U Doin JT?",

so he has to know that ppl who can make a difference and may be looking into allegations and his bad behaviour are reading his posts, or lack of them.

Thanks JT for answering a burning question that was posed to you around February or March, when the tour is over.

Thanks JT for caring about your good buddy Mick, and his and the bands fans.

Thanks for getting our backs and being a good director of the club and making this whole tour such a delightful experience for us, the fans.

Thanks for taking my hard earned money and banning me from the site because I was questioning and became bitter when you ignored us.

Thanks for not owning your mistakes and for changing history constantly to suit you.

Thanks for changing the fan club rules AT WILL...I love how you tell us in all your communications now how unguaranteed we are...Thanks.

If you are such a "good" friend to Mick and such a fan, if they let you go, would you sue the band? You, the good friend?

Does the band know that YOU sign cds and send them out...tell me, when did you join the band? You are THE man. GAG

Default Fan club re sale

I'm glad they started doing something about people buying pre sale and with in an hr are on e-bay at 3 to 6 times the face value! It was really bad at the beginning of the tour!!!
3 and 4 th row were going for $000.00 or more! and so the rest of us didn't have a chance at good seats!

What makes you say they are doing something about it? They aren't and won't; they couldn't care less. The whole club is a sham and no one should delude themselves into thinking something will be done because nothing will.

If Jonathan Todd was laying in the road, dying, and asking for a drink of water, I wouldn't give him a drop. I would let the vultures come and do what they wanted with him.

Exactly - the latest disclaimer is nothing more than a scare tactic - and as I said earlier in this thread - it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that as long as you wait until the fan club pre-sale is over, and you don't mention in your ebay listing that you're selling fan club tickets, how are you going to get caught???
