When you say "in their original recordings " do you mean something like a box set of demos? That would be very cool. I like the demos, but I like it more when she takes a song we've known ( for so long in demo form), and fully records and releases it officially.

I literally have dreams about this. There is NOTHING I'd like Stevie to do more than record the songs of Rhiannon + a few other tracks to have the most haunting record EVER.

So if "Forest of the Black Roses" has it's own thread, why doesn't "Forsaken Love"?!?! That's probably my all-time favorite Stevie demo (srsly) and I think it would work well with the other songs of Rhiannon.

I think we need to start a Rhiannon Project campaign, im not on Twitter but have heard about Annabel Lee, perhaps that could be a good way to get the ball rolling

Stevie's voice was in great form when FOTBR was recorded. I like it, but I prefer "Three Birds of Rhiannon" because of its last verse. "For you, Rhiannon..."

Well I do mean in the original way that we have them now left as they are untouched. I guess I just think some things should be left alone. I'd love a demos'/outttakes/extended versions/masters box set with some killer outtake photos too to go along with it. We all know it could be a beautiful thing really. Than I guess 'if' we aren't gonna get it that way I'll take it whatever way I can get it meaning a 'new' version but I sometimes don't care for the new versions. It seems that the passion is lost in translation or something. Like on 'Smile At You' SYW version just doesn't have the fire/passion plus the lyrics were changed which I don't like much either. Than you'll have people that love it that way. I guess its what you love. Thats what I love.
