On a somewhat related note, looks like the state & the unions are starting to reach some agreements in contract negotiations. Also looks like I will be taking a pay cut for the next 2 years. Oh well, at least I'll still have a job (that I love, btw) as they are supposedly guaranteeing no layoffs.

now i feel for a d*ck for that text i sent you. sorry to hear that. thank god they are guaranteeing no layoffs. a bunch of my friends from my old job just got laid off. it's a grim employment landscape out there.
