I've seen this picture before and I do like it. But unfortunately this one has been badly retouched, colour wise. To put it VERY nicely, he looks like his Dad fornicated with a Cheeto, and he was the result.

The coloring is wrong, especially with the glow from the forehead. But the angle is very unflattering too. It's like the lens was shooting down on him, which not only exaggerates the ever larger forehead, but it makes his bottom eye lids look droopy. It adds a sad, empty, lifeless air to his demeanor which is creative and expressive, in a way, but it hardly symbolizes the album that this picture was taken to promote (Gift of Screws) and I certainly don't want it used for the new album.

Yeah, WTF? As a random LB pic for us to fawn over, I get this pic. I do like it, but viewing it objectively he looks miserable, hungover, and a little over-baked.

That's.... a horrible picture. We see the beauty because we know Lindsey is beautiful. Anyone who doesn't already know that is not going to find it appealing at all.

I agree with you for about 90% of this. But then I look at the picture and there's no getting past his fantastic bone structure. I do agree that he looks terribly drained, despite my love of the picture on a poetic level.

I see Lindsey as somebody who doesn't really think of the aesthetic. His music is how he chooses to express himself, and his pictures are nought but necessity to it.

He did. I guess the Salt Lake venue didn't have the new photos yet.

Better...but I don't know. Watching recent vids of him and he looks so good! I think these are just bad angles for him. They do not do him justice IMO. But this is much better then the other.
