washington, DC area, so i plan to see several east coast dates (definitely baltimore MD one, for example). judging by the 3 dates announced so far, seems that you will probably be able to catch several west coast dates, including that vegas one.

Lindsey has a lot more money than the average solo artist trying to tour abroad but from what I understand, it really CAN be very difficult and expensive for American artists to play in Europe. Especially people like Lindsey where you could hope that he'd at least sell out shows in a few major cities but truth be told, he didn't come close to selling out most of the shows on the GOS tour in the States and there's no real evidence that the shows abroad would be any better, or even as well, attended. You could still say that because Lindsey has the money, he should go anyway and be willing to spend some of his money to give his fans there what they have been waiting for but I can see why he and his management are hesitant to do so if it would likely be at a total loss to him. I remember during the GOS tour, there were rumors that the shows were costing more than he was getting back and it would only be a higher percentage abroad unless he really was able to sell them out.
That said, I completely sympathize with you guys in Europe and hope something DOES work out. I am sure it is beyond frustration to be somewhere your favorite artist never comes. |

yeah, although it might be wrong, i still count boston as 9/25, perhaps different venue then originally announced. figure he may start in the NE, go down the east coast (baltimore 9/30) cross over to the west in the middle of oct, starting with vegas 10/14, finish in CA beginning of nov. i hope i'm somewhat wrong, b/c looks like shorter tour than i'd like to see. have to check how GOS tour went...
