Worst Lyrics - Diane
Should've been a hit single - Empire State Never understood the appeal of - Diane Album could have been better if - Smile At You or If You Were My Love were included. This would knock off Straight Back, but it could have been a b-side to one of the other singles. This is one of my biggest gripes about Fleetwood Mac and Lindsey's control over the band, that he has some sort of universal authority to knock songs off because he doesn't think they fit the album. "Oh, Stevie, that song is too angry, it doesn't fit in with the others." Please, give me a break - I wonder what other Stevie gems are lost to time because of poor choices like that. Much better performed live - Eyes of the World! Overall least favorite - Diane
