I'm pretty stressed out right now. Trying to make the LA Wiltern show work, trying to find a full time summer job, trying to withdraw from a terrible class, trying to get something substantial done with my novel, trying to snatch up as many student loans as possible so I can go to Durham next year... I'm feeling really unconfident lately, too, so I'm also trying to boost my self esteem while working on improving myself at the same time. Turns out, I have to be in a massive ball of self-loathing to get anything productive done.

This school year needs to be over!

1) Click on the person's screen name

2) Click "view public profile" in the pull down menu

3) Click "Add ____ to your ignore list"

4) Click "Save List"

5) And you're done.

Moderators & Administrators can view "deleted" posts. Just Thought I'd share.

Indeed. If you can't stand by what you post, don't post it in the first place. Moving on as well.

I've always wondered why anyone would want to be a mod and have to handle board clean-up, but it suddenly became intriguing. I may have to hang out here for 15 years and somehow worm myself onto everyone's good side

Can mods also see the un-edited versions of edited posts?

I miss the days when mods kept the mod stuff private. This statement makes you look like youre carrying your mod stick in your hand like it's the biggest peen on the block. And then now to toss up posts and threads that you don't like in front of the entire peanut gallery 'poor me' look what i go through-- is there not a private mod area to discuss this stuff? The most recentpost readslike 'watch out im pushing back'. Youve let this chit go to your head and you may want to watch out about fitting it through door jams. jtis.

Yes, weild your mighty moderator sword to squeak: me too

And gloat about being able to read deleted posts. So unseemly.

I hope all know that moderators here also have a history of enjoying reading PM's.

When I asked what I was missing, I had no idea what Heartboy and then CaliforniaDream were talking about in this thread. There is a private area for moderators to discuss things and perhaps I should have asked my wtf question in there, rather than directly to the folks who I was confused by.

Once again I am amazed at how much importance is placed on this type of stuff.

The only reason I brought up the fact Admins can read deleted posts is because certain members abuse the delete feature, thinking they can say snarky things and then make them go away by deleting their post. All I was saying is either:

1) Stand behind what you post

or

2) Don't post it
