Default In Your Dreams - On track for debuting at No. 1?

I think Stevie has a great chance of debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Album Chart. And I think we can get her there! She's currently at #2 on Amazon, just under Adele's 21 and doesn't have much competition in her release week, though Sade did release a comprehensive best-of. Adele sold over 120,000 copies last week, so Stevie will need to be in that level to surpass her, which is definitely possible.

Here is Stevie's competition for the week:

Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee, Part 2
Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues
Jennifer Lopez - LOVE?
Musiq Soulchild - MUSIQINTHEMAGIQ
Sade - The Ultimate Collection
Sixx Am - This Is Gonna Hurt

If you haven't downloaded IYD yet, be sure to get an extra copy for your iPod on iTunes or Amazon! This will help her numbers. Let's get Stevie to #1, so all the critics can write that In Your Dreams is her first #1 album since Bella Donna!!

I'm pretty sure it'll go...

1) Beastie Boys
2) Fleet Foxes
3) Adele
4) Jlo/Stevie
5) Jlo/Stevie

The top 3 acts are just too big for Stevie to overtake, sadly

Fleet Foxes are actually legit. Not the usual crap like Black Eye Peas or Glee. They have some real talent and make some great music. They remind me of the Moody Blues old albums from the late 60's/Early 70's

They remind me of Simon and Garfunkel.

HITS Daily Double is predicting IYD at No. 5 or 6. Those predictions are based on first day sales.

that is a pretty realistic estimate I'd say.

How much of a reflection on the official albums chart is Amazon though? I still don't know why but i'm not so sure IYD will appear in the top 5

edit: oh, I just read the HDD sales predictions..it's not that hot,40k-ish. ..

I need to pick up a extra copy, what's the best way of getting it noticed as a sale, in store or on-line or does it even matter? A sale is a sale?
