This is either because 1) he used the same email address to sign up for a new name 2) he has the same IP address as his original screenname. Either one will automatically kick you out of the system as a duplicate. I can't see how Jason's having problems with his original screenname if he signed in 2 days ago, and nothing's amiss in his profile on our administrative control panel. The only thing I can suggest once again is for somebody to tell him to try using a different internet browser (ie: Chrome, Firefox, etc), and see if that helps. Whatever the problem is, it's on his end, not the Ledge's .

I was with him when he tried to log on with his iphone. I could log on but he couldn't. There is definitely something on the server side, methinks.

What happens when he tries to log in? I've seen him online in the last few days...I wonder if it's showing him on the active members list at the bottom when, to him, it looks like he's having log-in issues?

It kind of goes into limboland... he just gets to that "thanks for logging in" page (or some kind of interstitial page), and it just hangs there indefinitely. That's probably why he is shown as having "logged in," even though he really is unable to get beyond the interstitial to any of the forums.

Hmm...I'd say it was a problem with his browser, computer, or Internet connection, but if it's doing it no matter where he logs in (iPhone, other computers, etc.), and doesn't do it when someone else logs in on the same machine, then it does seem like a Ledge issue. What that problem would be, I can't begin to imagine.

Is there somewhere you admin/mod types can go for technical support for the forum? Maybe you could ask if this is a known issue.

God, I miss the good old days... when I couldn't go a few hours without logging in, and damn if I STILL didn't miss stuff! I miss Jason here. I have him on FB as well, but he's not on there like he was on here. But, then, that was a different time.

I'm glad you posted, Deanna. It's been so long...

I was never really around when he was posting a whole lot, but now that I know him in person, I think the Ledge could use his type of sass

I talked to strandie just yesterday. He said he has nothing to say any more about Stevie Nicks & all that whole scene. He said he has "moved on" to Verdi.
