I don't really like Glee but I thought they did the songs justice! I especially like Rachel/Lea Michele's "Go Your Own Way" and "Never Going Back Again". They managed to make the songs fit the plot too. Not too bad and if this episode makes some people discover the Mac, well, it's a success.

I thought their version of "I Don't Want To Know" was awesome! I can't stop listening to it! Very Mac sounding "Never Going Back Again" was also pretty good.

That being said, I wasn't a big fan of the others. I felt "Dreams" was really lacking. I'm not crazy about "Go Your Own Way" being sung by a girl. (I said that to my mother who replied, "wasn't the original sung by a girl?" What?!? And she calls herself a fan! ) And I could not stand "Don't Stop"....

But yes if this generates new Mac fans then hooray!!

I liked Dreams only because Kristen Chenoweth is absolutely phenomenal.

Go Your Own Way was bad (I really like Lea Michele but meh), and Don't Stop was typical and cheesy, and Never Going Back Again was promising until they kicked in the drums and other guitars and ruined the song imo.

I Don't Want to Know was worst of all, imo. Hearing it REALLY made me appreciate the chemistry Stevie and Lindsey have when they sing together... there was technically nothing wrong with the Glee version, they did all of the harmony's pretty much spot on to the original, but it didn't FEEL right. It lacked energy and life. I was cringing.

I understand what you mean. I'm so attached to these songs and the chemistry and stories that are behind them, so it's hard for me to want to hear someone else sing them. I liked IDWTK the most because I think it's the one that sounds the closest to the original and I like that a lot

I hope she does the song justice, unlike she did with Heart's 'Alone'! Noone can top Ann Wilson with that song so I feel the same way about Stevie's 'Dreams'!

BTW, you guys are killing me, I still have another hour to go!

Oh, she didn't top Stevie, obviously... she just did a fine job with the cover.

How funny. Fleetwood Mac's Rumours just trumped Stevie Nicks' In Your Dreams in the Top 10 iTunes albums. Rumours is at #4 thanks to the Glee episode.

Color me impressed!

They did a great job!

I like how they thru 'The Chain' into the episode.

I feel bad for Sam, Chord Overstreet is so cute! His Dad is a country singer, he had a hit in the 80's with Tanya Tucker & Paul Davis.

I thought they did a great job, personally (but I must admit to really enjoying the show) I thought all of the songs were done well, but especially Never Going Back Again and Go Your Own Way...
I do love Kristen C...but someone should give that gurl a sandwich! I thought she was going to break!
Loved the interweaving of The Chain throughout...

She can do anything! From The West Wing to Glee via Broadway. She is awesome.

Well Mac gets to go "cha ching" again! Rumours is the best retirement fund ever. I'm so happy for them and psyched that Glee did such a wonderful job with these songs. I also liked Never Going Back Again, the extra guitars give it a richness. I like hearing Matthew's harmonies on Dreams and thought Kristin did a really good job with it. All of the songs were good, I'm going to have to download my first Glee songs I am thinking. I'm a fan of the show but have never downloaded any of their songs. Rock on FM!

Give her a sandwich and tanning rehab. She's so beautiful but the overtan is distracting.
