Biggest surprise for me is that the song " In Your Dreams" is up tempo. It reminds me of Enchanted.

Right now it's New Orleans. Her mentioning Anne Rice and the vampires put a grin on my face. I've been a fan of Anne's for probably longer than I should. Considering how deliciously graphic her books can be, I'm not sure a kid should have been reading them.

Oh God, it's like all of my geeky things are colliding . I about peed myself when I heard Stevie sing Anne's name. Stevie + Anne = Louie bliss.

And last year I was in New Orleans for a DeLorean get together... so I was able to combine DeLoreans and Anne Rice as well! I just had to snap a picture of my friend Bill's car in front of Anne's house while we were there:

I also have pics of the DeLorean in front of several locations from the Witching Hour books. I freaking love it when my obsessions collide!

Probably Italian Summer, I thought it would be a boring ballad but it truly is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

Definitley! It might even trump Moonlight as my overall favorite.

I also pick Everybody Loves You. The beginning with the electro feel and the strings in the middle followed by the guitar definitely goes in a direction I was not expecting.

I'm not wild about the title track (too much guitar) and "Soldier's Angel" (embarrassing lyrics), but I still think they're worthy of inclusion.
I'm a little disappointed in WSS ....its a little off...Lyrics are great but it could have had a better start IMO...I didn't think I'd like New Orleans as much either..

I had some tredipidations about New Orleans and Soldiers Angel but that washed away after hearing them New Orleans in partucualr is classic.Italian Summer is one I reserved opinion on until hearing the entire song and I have to say I love it.The song reminds of Roxy Music's brilliant "A Song For Europe" it is that good IMHO.

I really LOVE the title track! It's so catchy and uptempo. My favorite part is at the end when she's just repeating "Ooooooh in your dreams."

Moonlight is just incredible.

For some reason For What It's Worth randomly reminded me of American Pie by Don McLean today. I transitioned from FWIW into that song in the car and it weirded me out haha.

Me too! I didn't even consider that "everybody loves you" could be followed by "but..."

Another surprise for me was the line "even though they were so in love, they drew a line in the sand, just because". It was spoken in the sizzle reel, which I liked but didn't love. When she sang in the song itself, it took me by surprise because it gave it a completely different flavour each time.
