Default Poly Styrene Dies
If anyone is an X-Ray Spex fan, Poly Styrene died of cancer last night. I'm kind of bummed about it.
Just throwing that out there. It sucks.

Wow, I just heard a review of her new album yesterday on NPR and decided I needed to buy it. The reviewer said a tour promoting the album in the US would have to be postponed due to treatment, but it didn't sound this serious. How sad.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Mention of X-Ray Spex in this movie review published yesterday.

Also, fans of X-Ray Spex should def check out the band featured in this review: The Au Pairs, the greatest female-led rock band of all time.
