Well, perhaps it wasn't that bad that I didn't get a call from Oprah's people

Eh, let's not discount it for the people who are there, though. It would still be VERY cool to see the first (and last) Stevie Nicks appearance on Oprah.

And I like Miley. And every celebrity like her. They're teenage girls. They have no responsibility to be the upholder of all of your moral standards. If you don't want your child to emulate them, then perhaps teach your child not to celebrity-worship. Personally, I would be proud if my daughter were half as accomplished/interesting as Miley Cyrus.

From Nicks fix:

On the Launch.com website there is an article stating that Billy Ray Cyrus received a special invitation to attend Stevie's kick-off concert in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. Cyrus said "I was blown away by the incredible show she put on," said Cyrus. "I'd recommend it to anyone. She's definitely making the best music she's every made, and I've been a fan for a long time."

I remember seeing a pic of him with Stevie and Sheryl too...

Everyone who has been posting who wasn't there is full of ****. I was there, seated in the second row, 3 ft from the stage. Stevie opened with landslide. Sheryl crow came out and sang with her. Stevie had a sit down interview with Oprah. Then joan Jett with Miley Cyrus. Salt n Pepa. Pat Benetar with Avril lavigne. Sister sledge. Everyone came back onstage with sister sledge. then Stevie came back on and closed with secret love. It was awesome. Stevie was the only one with a sit down interview and two spots.
