Lol! That's funny because generalization because in the south, northerners are viewed as having less manners & being less friendly.
You're the ONLY person I've ever known, who quotes Seinfeld, more than I.

And the north/south thing is true, for the most part.
I'm a Yankee, but spend a LOT of time down in TN. The people there, are SO MUCH more friendly there, than they are here. They've told me that they hate Yankees, because we're rude, impatient, and self-absorbed. I agree.

My friend moved here from Chicago....she says the difference in just friendliness, from there to here in IN, is huge. The difference from Chicago to the South, must be astronomical. 70yo women, greet you on a city street, down there. That would rarely happen, here.

I was raised in the South and have lived here all my life, but I'm extremely introverted, and as a kid it was absolute hell. I don't like talking to people I don't know well, and will go out of my way to avoid it. I don't do small talk, and generally don't make eye contact with people on the street. I prefer to be kind of anonymous, fade into the wallpaper, and not call attention to myself as much as possible.

Because of all that, my mother (don't get me started on her) thought I was autistic, and I could never get it through the school secretary's head that I was not in Special Ed.

Sometimes I wonder if I would've had an easier time in the North.

For a lot of years, I lived in Northern KY, a bridge away from Ohio. I moved South (Georgia, Alabama) because my husband is from here. Let me tell you, Southerns may be 'friendly', but only if you are 'like them'. I've met a lot of people here that are just not good people at all.

Yeah, I can see that. Fortunately for me, I have the gift on "blend". Country club or hillbilly honkytonk, rich or poor folk,.....I don't recall ever not being accepted...(I am embarrassed typing that, but it's true)

Face to face, whether that's missionary, or knees on the headboard(is that technically still missionary?). I like to see who I'm doing.....plus, as the world's biggest kissing lover, doggy doesn't really allow for that.

If it's a marathon, I might finally opt for lying on my back....let them do all the work!

Should I be seeing these things?

My mother sent me to Catholic school, even though we weren't Catholic. She said I needed the discipline that only the nuns could provide.

There's still part of that blushing school girl in me, I guess. I'm not a total prude, though. You know what they say about the quiet ones...

I was sent to Catholic school, too. It turned me into a loud mouthed little jezebel!

I went to a Southern Baptist/Pentecostal school, and it had the same effect on me too

It turned me into a foul mouthed smartass. Not so much of a jezebel, though. I've been with my boyfriend since I was 17 (I'm 26 now). Faithfully, too. And living/working in Las Vegas there's temptation all around, and you constantly get hit on. I should be given some kind of a reward for that.

Whoa! I'm away from The Ledge for a few days and this thread goes in all sorts of weird and wonderful directions! Well done guys!

Ok - where do I start with the constant poleing...

Fave sexual position totally depends on if it's a quick "God I gotta have you right NOW and I don't care where we are" f**k or a long, slow session of lovemaking.
For the former, doggy works well whereas the latter gives you time to move around and change it up.. it's all good!

The worst thing about being in debt is not being able to buy gorgeous underwear I love lingerie shopping

I don't really have a favourite sexual position. Depends on the person, the situation, the environment, etc. I like to go with the flow
