I wanted to ask you Third World Man ,where I can find the price information about this limited edition piano.Not that I have any interest in buying it myself.But someone else on another message board, where I posted about it. Has asked about how much the price was.How much a of fortune does that cost.I didn' know where to tell them to look on the web site for Steinway about the price of it.You allways post accurate information.But I like to post where people can look up the information for themselves to.I think there is a lot of Beatles and John Lennon fans that post and read this Ledge board.Because this thread is still getting a lot of views.Its not just from Nico and me.With Stevie on tour right now with Rod Steward and the excitement about her new music CD coming out soon.We also have Lindsey's new solo music CD that is coming out hopefully soon to.I am also really looking forward to to getting these new CD's for myself to.But even with all this going on with this board.This thread is still having people checking it everytime something new is posted here.Everyone have a safe,positive and great weekend and take care

Hi msLinds, thanks for the props, and I was teasing that it was just you & Nico reading this thread The article that I read stated the price was $90,000. They have a link you can click on, which leads you to believe they will send you info. I thought if they had a brochure, it would be a great John item to have! I secretly added a friend to the list so she would get a brochure too! But alas, they just have a local dealer respond via email so you can arrange to come in and order one. **sigh** So, I guess the only thing you can do if you're really interested is to go to the closest Steinway dealer. Thanks again, take care and keep the John love coming!

Thanks 3rd World Man for the information.It was just a fan on another board wondering what the price for one of the Steinway limited edition John Lennon Piano's was.I am sure there are some people that will want one, that has funds to buy one..It is a beautiful limited edition John Lennon Piano.

A remastered version of Imagine is featured on this 38-track compilation album to benefit those struck by the disastrous earthquake/tsunami in Japan.

John as well as Adele, Foo Fighters and Eminem are among the acts featured on the final tracklisting of the new 'Songs For Japan' charity album.

Labels Sony , EMI, Universal and Warner have joined forces to release the 38-song album. Profits will go to the Japanese Red Cross to benefit the victims of the recent Japanese earthquakes and tsunami.

The album is available now to download from Itunes.apple.com and will come out physically on April 4.

Meanwhile, Beady Eye, Primal Scream, Graham Coxon, Paul Weller and more are set to for a benefit gig for victims of the Japan disasters in London next month.

Now Nico, that list is HUGE for that charity CD, wow, people love Japan, and we should be doing everything we can to help. I can claim to be a fan of only two of those artists, John of course and Bruce ***sigh*** I'm sure someone with much better taste **ahem** will be able to list many more But seriously, a remastered or unreleased track from John is worth the price of the CD, so I say buy it!

will YOU be buying it Mr. 3rd World? And also, did you buy the "John Lennon Signature" box? There was all kinds of remastered on there.

Well Nico, I WILL be buying that CD, though I might 'donate' it to 'charity' afterwards and I must confess I don't own the John box (some fan I know) though I have heard from a close friend that it's FAB, no? But I will be building up my John collection, for sure!
