I don't watch many shows on tv regularly but I do love 2 right now that I keep up with.

1. Bath Crashers on DIY channel (because I absolutely love and adore Matt Muenster)

2. American Pickers (because Mike Wolfe is sexy fine to me)

I must be on a manly man kick lately

I am way too into television.

30 Rock
The Good Wife
Mad Men
How I Met Your Mother
Cougar Town

Guilty pleasures:
Real Housewives
RuPaul's Drag Race
ABC soap operas (I interned at one for a year and can't help but love them)

I don't really watch much tv, but recently streamed the series Downton Abbey and really enjoyed it!

Louie - good call! Are you a fan of a good period drama? That's where the UK kicks US ass! Try streaming BBC adaptations of North and South, Bleak House and Cranford too. All are incredible - Bleak House especially.

Updating my list: I also really like The Big Bang Theory (Sheldon is comedy genius!) and The Good Wife.

I am totally obsessed with English period dramas! I am especially fascinated by early-mid 20th century English period pieces which showcase the collapse of the old English way of life and class system.

I've actually been considering watching Bleak House for a while now... but can't decide between the newer and older one. Guess I'll just have to watch both!

I've also been itching to see the original Brideshead Revisted mini series after watching the movie last year. I very much enjoyed the movie, but it was derided by critics as not being anywhere near as great as the original mini series. So I'll have to check out the mini series and judge for myself!

I'll have to check out North And South, too... that's another one which has been on my radar . Thanks for helping push me over the edge on these shows!

Bleak House: There's NO context between the older and newer ones. The new one, with Gillian Anderson as Lady Tulkinghorn, is the best costume drama tv series ever. The first episode was an hr and then they broke it down into 30 minite episodes so there's a cliffhanger every time. It works very well, especially since Dickens's books were originally written in serial format.

As for North and South, you want the BBC one with Daniella Denby Ashe and Richard Armitage. It's from about 6-7 years ago.

The original series of Brideshead is superb - you'll love it! Let me know once you've seen any of these and what you thought.

I adore this version.

Besides the shows I already mentioned, I guess I should add Hot In Cleveland. I originally I watched because of Betty White, but the rest of the cast is pretty funny. It's kind of a rip-off of the Golden Girls though.

Brilliant - so much better than the movie. It does look a little dated now but that's probably cos I watched it the first time around.

Favs are -

Being Human (English version of the series)

Wonders of the Universe (documentary series)

Desperate Housewives (guilty pleasure - waiting for next series)

Any repeats of Buffy (even though I've got the DVD set of the whole 7 series!)

Any Charles Dickens dramas

The Vampire Diaries (another guilty pleasure)

I'm not much of a TV person but the only shows I really watch are Bones, Teen Mom which is kinda interesting, Jersey Shore (I know I know but it's hilarious) and The Real Housewives Of.....series (except for DC which was boring as hell) and VH1 Classic.

Prob. watch more TV now than in the past 7 0r 8 years, but it's still not all that much. Only things I watch on a semi-regular basis are Bones, Modern Family, & Glee (haters can suck it ). Kinda got into Cougar Town for a bit, but they either canceled it or moved it to another night - not sure which, and don't care enough to find out.

So, yeah. Nothing terribly hip or exciting.
