I love the video; granted it is edited as a teaser so the transitions are a bit rough. But Dave at the beginning has a very Eurythmics (modern) feel to it, and I do think Stevie is theatrical in sound and style. The fact that it's really her words (lyrics/poems) that give her street cred, as many of them are pure craftsmanship and have layered substance.

Above all, she looks great and seems very confident in presenting her persona for what it has and will always be; and that includes all the "magical" references and fantasy. As for the music itself, it still sounds like a Stevie Nicks CD (which is good) but given a bit of modern engineering (which was badly needed.) Ultimately, it will be the complete songs and performance that will either blossom or die on the vine.

I am in such a state of euphoric shock, I really don't know what to say. The vision of what I've always had for what Stevie's music and, aura, and everything could be is in the video. It's perfect, straight up!!!

I've been a fan since 2003, and haven't experienced the release of any new material. It's all been old and recycled, and though as a fan collecting that back catalog has been amazing and beyond everything I could have imagined, having this new, fresh current material is what it's all about.

I know I've mentioned how my fandom has gone in cycles, and how at times it can be frustrating, knowing you WANT to be totally digging Stevie's music at the moment, but just being in a lull. Stevie's music has helped me through so many personally trying times that sometimes I feel like I owe her my listening...... Well if there was any doubt, ANY doubt EVER, it has been forever forgotten. I can't wait for this new album. It will probably keep all of us going for quite some time.

The aura of the video is perfect. I remember one night thinking, I don't remember what I was listening to, but just thinking about how I hoped Stevie would have an album that was just so thick with this gothic, earthy imagery and whatnot.... and here it is in this preview.

When the "smoke and the fire" song came on, my jaw literally hit the floor. I knew instantly that that song could quite possibly end up being my absolute favorite on this album, and potentially ever. All of the songs are great, Anabel Lee is probably the least favorite, but at this point, even it is earning high marks.

Right now I really don't know what to say other than hell yeah!! The time it took me to type this was the longest I've gone without playing the promo again, so I think I'll leave, play it a few more times and then get ready for my concert tonight!!!

And then maybe later impart some more words of wisdom on this thing!!! But right now, all I can think is, damn right, hella tight!!!
I'm really happy that the teaser made you soo happy! By the way I know how you feel. I've had it up to here with angels. I'm sooo glad she is going a little bit darker and dramatic. I never thought I would see this.

I like the way Dave introduces Stevie, and the way the girls claim to be Stevie Nicks. It's all sooo dramatic. It puts the emphasis on her and makes it seem like she is really a special thing.

I'm hoping that'll be the case here as well... the clips just aren't giving me enough to create an emotional bond with, but the album itself will hopefully floor me. I'll know in about a month!

All we will need is some practice at editing. Obviously the sets, props and costumes will take care of themselves.
We essentially have a full crew. There is work for the milliner too.

so I take it, by not recording in the studio that much, they saved enough to money to be able to do this?

Do you guys think that the 1st song is the title song, in your dreams?

The whole video though it was rapid, punchy, fast paced clips in the preview...seems to have a collective, Victorian, Castle, Vampire...In your dreams stuff theme...

Any takes on this?

I'm soooo happy.

I think it is Moonlight albeit the part that she wrote in 2009 .I'm guessing that some of the original LFTM leads up to this part..if you listen to the lyrics they include "Strange" and "they drop to the forest floor..frozen" Most certainly not "In Your Dreams" though.

I submitted an epic post on the AOL site. I had to link it Lauratn's Facebook. I hope she doesn't kill me.

my problem is the people who heard it the Moonlight song said it sounded just like Lady from the Mountain. That does not sound anything like it

She was probably talking about a chimpanzee
